You can see up to 3 on the same map on official, is saw 2 in one heatwave, a parasaur can detect them, and you can see one glitched in the ground if you are the 1st person to render it after a heatwave, but once you leave render it will be invisable, they will respawn in the same spot that you see it glitched or where it lands after a heatwave
More Phoenix Encountering Tips
I had been looking for one for three hours and I had finally found one and then it diedππππππππππππ
Eat some rare flowers and gain aggro to guide it to your preferred taming spot before the superheat ends. Itβs a bit fast, so be careful! ^ if this helps!
If you are trying to tame a Phoenix some of them can self destruct
Who else thinks there should be a color region for fire, so you can get mutations of it
Just do stuff on scorched and when a heat wave happens just go mad searching
It usually spawns near the red obolisk or the sand dunes or the Rocky mountains behind the red obolisk. 80% of the times it's their 15% of the time it's near the silicon pearl loop in the middle of the map 5% of the time near the corners of the map. Happy hunting.
Literally searched all map with parassaur alert and nothing. PLEASE WILD CARD LET PHOENIX BE A LITTLE EASIER TO FIND. Cut that @#$β¬Β£Β₯ of 3 phoenix at the same time in the map, and do something....

The Phoenix eats sulfur only sulfur and nothing but sulfur so just keeput that in mind after you tame one.
I found one after about 8 heat waves... but itβs ashes landed by someoneβs base so I canβt trap it π... does eating flowers get itβs agro so I can move it?
