The best way to tame a phoenix is to use a fire wyvern cause you can chase him down.

You can use the new bobs tall tales gene scanner to find it with no heatwave going. I have found 3 on the map at one time with this. Once you found the spot using the gene scanner use a cryo to lock on to it to find its exact location underground then build your trap over the top of it.

Trap it will it’s ash then the next heat wave u go to ur trap and boom u have a trapped Phoenix

Don’t use a wood ladder on your Nooblets trap. Mine burned up and I couldn’t get up there to finish taming.

Paras are great at finding these little buggers just turn on turret mode and bingo

Best way to tame solo is to trap it and use oil jars to burn it. Tames supper fast and can keep a constant flame on it for max effectiveness. It is almost useless however, and hardly worth the time it takes to find and tame it. Good luck.
