Step 4/5. Go to north and tame more ovises, for infinite mutton, which you can use to tame carnivores faster than any other meat.

There’s a lot in the snow part of the map.. they are usually already getting mutilated by a Dino though.

I pretty sure you can ride these sheep once tamed but I could be wrong

They spawn on the sw islands of ragnorok and are of course a rare spawn but sometimes spawn when you need them

I suggest using an argy to trap them somewhere until you need to tame something and when you do need to tame something

Use a chainsaw on a baby and get alot of Prime Meat anr Mitten. U will also get alot of pelt

On Consoles (Xbox and PS) they give tons of mutton.

When ever you one of these little guys tame it with vegetable cake don't kill it you can later kill it and use the raw muttons to tame a carnivore it's basically like kibble good luck

So either get really lucky and find one spawned near no meat eaters or prepare to go hunting, I've come across a few at the obelisks now, have an argy as a spotter and a carrier after the tame and someone on the ground to clear nearby carnovaurs, also have some sweet vedgy cake already made, getting Ovis is time consuming, also keep the high levels to breed, the low level babies die, out of 4 baby ovis we had 2 survive when breeding, their health levels are very erratic and the higher the level the better, the longer you keep the Ovisthe higher the levels will go, if you need mutton kill your low level males off

Found a lot of mine near the river that separates the 2 snow Mts. Also found some on the blue obby MT about half way up

I've seen them the most during blizzards and mornings... around 6-10 is when I see them the most... they also spawn more in The Island than The Center

Just like prime meats, raw mutton dosnt stack bit the cooked lamb chops do. Keep in mind that if the dino likes mutton, the cooked stuff is still going to be very effective and the cooked stuff will last much longer too. Just be careful if you put cooked mutton in a preserving bin with oil because it will become prime jerky. Actually many people don't realize that prime fish also becomes prime jerky, and cooked fish becomes normal jerky. DONT let that tasty sheep meat go to waste. For thoes who live closer to the coast, pretty much all of the sheep spawn locations are inland and kinda scattered in the south. But the sheep are highly concentrated in the snow biome and on top of a mountain in the redwoods. If you play ragnarock, if you spawn in the highlands you WILL see sheep at some point. In the highlands their spawn chance is the same as a moschops, but they will spawn in herds. Also there is a sheep with 4 horns like the ovis in real life that lives today, it's called a Jacob sheep, they have 4 long horns just like the ovis. For some reason the ovis is not in mobile, and I think I know why. Mobile has microtransactions that allow you to by soothing balm and other items that speeds up taming, and mutton is specifically used to speed up carnivore taming. I'm not completely sure if this was the case, but it definitely makes sense. The second theory I have is that if you have the ovis you need the shears, and mobile dosnt include any player or creature painting, and hair cuts are selected on character creation, so it's quite possible that the ovis wasn't included due to the absence of that.
