I found one down at green ob river ( island ) and one up in the snow, tip, kill all reindeers around because they look like sheep from a distance. I also found one at an oasis in the desert and on red on mountain ( scorched ) and as for center I found them in the snow on top of mountains around green ob. Hope it helps...

If you are looking for one but don't have a carrying dinosaur, stab them will a grapple hook, and watch them bounce around as you carry them home to tame.

I found 3 of these (2 female and 1 male) in the The northern plains. If you are seeking them check there first but make sure you stack your bird withh extra meat. Also I recommend having Fur armor on so you do not lose food due to being cold.. also I bring vegetables with me when I look because it takes care of water and food really fast. These are hard to find so good luck!

Spawns near ruins unless there is gates placed. Lack of spawns are only if people have built around or put gates around every ruin on your server.

People say found in grass lands but I've found 7 in snow none in grass

After you tame one it can eat berries, I put some in my feeding trough and they filled up on hunger. And I saw a black ovis in the wild and picked it up and tamed it but after sometime it turned white, not sure if it's a glitch or what but I haven't seen one since.

I just cant find them. searching for 3 hours in snow biom and edge of snow. iw lost 3 birds that day and 0 ovis. ahh

If you think titanboa eggs are hard to find, don't bother with these monsters.

On scorched earth these spawn around green and red ob if u want to get them to spawn kill all the creatures in the area around the ob fly to the other ob do the same there then fly back and look for ovis

I have found one down at the southern isles. They seem to spawn there as well.

I think the best spot to look for them is in the north

The island ive found 3 around frozen tooth mountain in the trees very hard to spot, but be careful purlovia are also hiding around that area knocked me off my bird a few times.

Found Ovis in SE at the red orb. just grab them with argi drop into tamingbox and feed it cake.

this makes arctic exploring easier in early game as pelt is harder to collect

Ovis(sheep) is first farm animal added to ARK.To tame 'em you need only one sweet vegetable cake?(its passive tame). If you harvest?? it they drop raw mutton,you can cook it and get lamb chop!????.

tame plenty for their amazing wool and later kill them for lamb chops and tame huge carnivores with just one sheep and a hatchet

These things can be found on Scorched Earth but they are very rare.
