You should use Ovis for a mutton farm because mutton is like a less effective type of kibble. Most dinos Love mutton so this is a very useful way to use these!

I’ve been hearing misleading tips about Ovis on Mobile, so here’s one to clarify:

Ovis CAN be found on Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition (the one with Keys and maps like Scorched Earth and Aberration), in the same locations you’d find them on PC.

Ovis CANNOT be found on Ark: Mobile Edition (the one with Ancient Amber and Creature Implants). Hope this helps!

These things are in mobile I found one in the snow biom and put it in argys stomach

If you wanna get wool without having to get ovis by just geting vegie cake make a cage with dino gate then get a argy to transport it into the cage then just simply shear it with scissors.

Seem to be found mostly in the snow. Quite rare, but definitely worth dropping what your doing if you find one.

The Ovis is a great source of Wool and Mutton. Chop one up for some delicious lamb chops! 😋🐑🍖

Harvest their corpse with a therizino upgraded in power, you will have enought meat for taming the whole island !

There wool can be used as pelt!

I accidentally killed a level 150 ovis by bola’ing it then impaling it with a spear. I wasn’t even aware of how rare this actually was and I thought about killing everything in sight because I was desperate for hide.

The ovis is a sheep-like creature that many survivors find useful in farming. It can be found in the grasslands. While rare, it can be tamed simply by feeding it one Sweet Vegetable Cake. This sheep can be sheered with Scissors to obtain Wool, or killed to obtain Mutton. While the ovis can be mounted, it is not an ideal mount for transport and provides very little use once mounted, other than its ability to climb up steep inclines.— Smallfoot
