The ovis is the rarest thing, only rare cuz they always get eatan. Really, they usually spawn in about as much as a dilophasaurus.

The ovis only has one purpose to me, RESOURCES(my opinion)

I would suggest breeding them and only killing the offspring for mutton, as they are also useful for making fur armor.

In the ragnorak map I have seen 5 all at once by the Wyvern nests.

Found one in the black sands place directly below the volcano on the island map. I haven't really seen them anywhere else so I go there periodically to see if any have spawned in again.

In Aberration, Abberant Ovis spawm in the Portal area sometimes, so if you're just starting out it you can kill one of them and get yourself a ton of mutton. Best to have a Bulbdog to store it in.

Easiest place to find them is in abberation the trick is getting them to a drop without them dying but once you get them You don't have to go back lol.

There is a spawn for them in the highlands of Ragnarok, just down the hill from the big three spire-like rocks in the middle of the region.

You can find these in the Highlands. They are extramly rare but you will always find a herd of them. Yust grab them with an Arg or a Quetz and fly them to your base. Try to avoid landing near canivores. Easy to tame and to breed

Tame them and breed them as their meat is very good for taming carnivores.

Just go to ragnaork there everywhere :D and you can have a sheep army :D

If you wish to find go to winters mouth, face the icebergs and head left around the beach. From the first icebergs to the ones you see after going around the beach, and a ways up the mountain. Not Ovis city but I got four in an hour. Never could find a female. I hope you have better luck than.

Make 3 pairs of mates and breed them uses the babies for either wool or for slaughter so your tames are eating mutton

Just got my female, time to make some lambs. Almost died getting both of them, takes forever to hunt.

If you want to find one and don't have saddles for flyers, use a grapple hook to bring them along.

On scorched earth they can be found around the red obelisk, found a mating within 10 minutes of each other

It's super cute. You will have a hard time bringing yourself to kill it unless you are a terrible person.
