Don't tame high level it's not worth wasting eggs go for a level 5-15 and use your dodo eggs trust me you need ovis more then dodo eggs

Tek Parasaur eggs are heavy, but give same effect as food eggs

i traped it and just punched it. it took 6 dodo eggs and 12 lystrosoraous eggs to tame

Tek Rex eggs are really good for taming these guys

Don’t tame one cheaper to kill parent and then steal baby, your welcome

Oviraptor may look useless, but is far from it, so here’s a guide to help you acquire one yourself

1. Oviraptor only eats eggs, so you will need to gather some. Bronto eggs are the best, because they give a ton of taming progress, and are realistic to acquire. If you have tamed brontos, breed them, if not, you can easily find one laying around groups of brontos. Next best I would recommend diplo or stego eggs, cause they still give a lot of progress, and are easier to obtain. Breed them or find them, whatever works best

2. Oviraptors are knockout tames, so come prepared with around 15 tranq arrows or 10 tranq darts. It’s easiest to bola it to tranq it but if you really want to trap it you can

3. Once it’s out just put the eggs in it. Depending on the eggs you may need narcs.

You must starve tame this dino. If you don’t, the time it takes to get hungry again, the taming will go from 75% to 10%

You can fill it with wood or stone so it doesn't move alot when wandering is enabled

If anyone is thinking the same as me & trying to use wyvern eggs for taming don't waste your time it's about 1% an egg!! 😭

They are fast and as it shows in the picture they do steal eggs I have also seen them stealing eggs from dilis and parasaurs.

Taming takes less than dododex says, tamed a lvl 23 with little over 50 dodo eggs

1st. find a ovirapter 2nd. bola it 3rd knockdown it crossbow, bow with tranq arrows (careful) 4th. FEED THE FRICKIN EGGS! TO THE OVIRAPTER!!!!!!!! but i suggest u have alot alot of dodo eggs and some big eggs too to tame it

Fastest way to tame one early is taming a lot of dodos to get eggs quickly. Dodos have a chance to lay a egg when they defecate. Ovis need to be set to ROAMING in order to activate the buff but don't waste mats on a enclosure, use your tamed dodos to trap them, they can't push dodos. Enjoy your Kibble farm early (usually with turtle eggs).

This is a strong dino for beginners witch means you'll definitely need something better than a stone pickaxe / Does anyone know how to tame..?

When taming these make a bola and a club and get a egg that you would get at the start (dodo, dilo, etc..) use the bola on it and hit it with the club on the head repeatedly and when it is knocked out put the egg in and let it tame.

Bola the egg thief, knock ‘‘em out and feed ‘em eggs for a new pet I haven’t tamed!😀

These guys are very skidish and will bolt if u get too close
