Fertilized edge are more efficient for taming

Does anybody know if you can tame them with fertilised eggs instead of unfertilised ones?

These guys are fairly shy, so bring a bola, a bat and a healthy supply of eggs if you want one in your base. I have never successfully tamed one, (which I would love to xD) however my past experience has proven that bolas work on these guys and that once knocked out, they prefer bigger eggs (tame a female Diploducus for best results, but be warned, as you might want to upgrade your inventory a few times before attempting to carry the eggs or tame the Oviraptor while it is near your base. Again, I have never personally tamed one of these, but I know how it goes as I have managed to knock them out before.

I wanna get one of these guys so bad to get a wyvern egg but I abously don’t wanna use giga eggs or questzle eggs. But also don’t wanna use Rex or spino eggs. Don’t wanna tame two brontos just to tame an oviraptor. And it takes to many carno or other eggs. Ugh

I have found the best place to find these are in the sw area 🕺🏽

You need to know if you don’t have like 30 eggs you won’t be able to tame it. I tried gave it like 10 eggs and it barely did anything. Plz up people need to hear so they don’t make the same mistake. PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR!!!!

Ok guys lisien pls when your gonna tame it bring at least 18 eggs and a big secreat that ark hides is bio toxin it’s like 2 times mor efectiv then narcotics it’s torpor is up to 80 torpor ok so good luck

Put in taming pen one hit trank arrow on crossbow then put eggs and bio toxin and wait for it to tame but stay on it

On official go for one that’s lvl 15+ this increases your chance of triplets greatly also do not over burden them put them in a cage they fixed it so they don’t escape keep all the female dinosaurs centralized around it this will help them lay eggs even without a male they do not collect your tames eggs they collect wild if they are on wonder so It could be beneficial to trap wild Dino’s in a pen with it on wonder they also eat meat after tamed they do have a knockout boost on their head so go for those head shots

tame the highest level you can find if you want one that has any range for egg pickup. it is absolutely the level NOT the melee that increases range. so put your points on health. you also do not need to put points into weight either.

Best cave creature is probably direwolf for mobile im guessing.

After unconscious..open it's beg and put one giga egg..and wait it will tamed...100% work.and not need balm and others

Starve the little bugger out. I waited till there foods almost gone and gave them giga eggs 3-9 max is what I've foundthe best and quickest but the highest out of four has been a 20 this way. So do with it as you will

I gave it a freakin diplo egg and he was only as 26% HOW I GIVES +100 HUNGER bruh

Tame a bunch of female dodos to tame a ovi.

Get a bunch of easy tame female dilos and then just farm all the eggs from them. Get a pachy or dino of your choice, upgrade the carry weight. Then all you have to do is transport the eggs and pick the color you want for your oviraptor.
