On official go for one that’s lvl 15+ this increases your chance of triplets greatly also do not over burden them put them in a cage they fixed it so they don’t escape keep all the female dinosaurs centralized around it this will help them lay eggs even without a male they do not collect your tames eggs they collect wild if they are on wonder so It could be beneficial to trap wild Dino’s in a pen with it on wonder they also eat meat after tamed they do have a knockout boost on their head so go for those head shots

Can only speak for mobile players, but i think it’s the same on all devices? These guys are awesome, especially since you only can tame a limited amount of animals, and probably don’t want to “waste” those tames on egg farms for kibble. You just make them follow you and walk up next to an egg together with it, and he will pick it up for you without making the parents aggressive. So just walk around with him and he will collect all the eggs that cross his path. Personally, i run around with my lil guy on herbavoir island, there is often a good amount of eggs there and nothing hostile (except sharks)

You want to keep your eggs safe at all times don’t leave the eggs in reach of the oviraptor. Make sure before you log off in multiplayer check your base for any ghille suits with oviraptors and store your eggs safe. Good luck!

tame the highest level you can find if you want one that has any range for egg pickup. it is absolutely the level NOT the melee that increases range. so put your points on health. you also do not need to put points into weight either.

Starve the little bugger out. I waited till there foods almost gone and gave them giga eggs 3-9 max is what I've foundthe best and quickest but the highest out of four has been a 20 this way. So do with it as you will

I gave it a freakin diplo egg and he was only as 26% HOW I GIVES +100 HUNGER bruh

Fun fact if u tame one and set it on wondering it will speed up plants that produce any type of fruit and even plants that produce potent dust!!!!!

I just tames a lvl 15 with 1 minor soothing balm and 1 giga egg... I did have to use stimulant to keep it asleep though

After unconscious..open it's beg and put one giga egg..and wait it will tamed...100% work.and not need balm and others

TAMING TIP FOR MOBIL PLAYERS

I just tamed a lvl 14 by using only 1 bronto egg!

Here’s what I did

* I cornered it

* I knocked it out by clubbing it

* feed it 1 soothing balm and 1 bronto egg

*waited like 10 minutes and BOOM… tamed ovi 😎

1Make a hexagon shape out of stone fence and stone windows, easy taming pin. 2 grab a simple pt and drop a oviraptor In the taming pin, tranq 3 time should knock it out. 3 tame up 8-20 female dodos then take there eggs and then pop it in to this bad boy. 4 fill it with tons of raw meat so it can’t move then put it on wander boom

Tame a bunch of female dodos to tame a ovi.

Get a bunch of easy tame female dilos and then just farm all the eggs from them. Get a pachy or dino of your choice, upgrade the carry weight. Then all you have to do is transport the eggs and pick the color you want for your oviraptor.

Oviraptors will not pick up another tribes eggs but they WILL pick up allianced tribe eggs! TESTED
