Any tips on how to get past these guy's in the lava cave

Unless I’m mistaken, mega rabies does not exist in mobile. I might be wrong, but I’ve done the lava cave a bunch of times, and I’ve never gotten it. By the way I love a cave, gives awesome loot.

Best way believe it or not to kill them is by either A-rifle, sword master craft+ and bazooka. Bazooka is good for big groups

These creatures “Bats” I’ve been told, can carry rabies as in of real life if you have an Arthropleaura (Arthro) will not aggro them and makes it easy for the tame the best damage calculated from level 1-80 always need 20-30 meat but level 10’s use 10 meat and is actually an Easter egg I’ve been told I myself LIVE in a cave and have four of them. I recommend using these amazing creatures as guards as they can outmaneuver even the great Giganotosaurus (Giga) amazing tames and will inflict Rabies virus or Mega Rabies virus on its said enemies therefore making it the best guard tame and for an unknown reason, are EXTREMELY underrated in my opinion they should be given more respect and given credit

These things are one of the reasons why I dump some extra points into Fortitude and Health. If you don’t have a rare antidote on hand, you can tough out the mega rabies if your Health and Fortitude stats are good. Got jumped by one of these things the other day on Scorched Earth at the Red Obelisk and I got lucky.

Wave of rabies

Use cactus broth and bug spray so they can’t see you! Put preserving salt in your inventory to make meat last longer (helps but not needed)

I found that I needed to crawl in full ghillie for it not to aggro on me. Also, bring more meat, the amount is off on this tame. A 145 on 2x takes 20, I brought 30 and came up short of 10% taming.

Don't be fooled these hit hard. I had one manage to get inside my base and kill my 184 stego in under 2 minutes.

Honestly, they are not good tames (my opinion), they are a passive tame that is a "shoulder animal" but u cant put them on or shoulder, they just follow you, so they easily get stuck and u lose them.

Some people say that they are good for defending bases, hum.... They can be, but i think there are loads of other animals that are much better at doing this.

They dont farm sh#t.

They dont have any special atk ou abilitys.

They are small so u cant mount, but big enough so u cant put them on your shoulder, etc.

For me they dont serve any porpouse besides pissing u off in caves.

Iffff they got a buff, maybe it will be a nice tame, especialy if u can put it on your shoulder and have the ability to make the other cave creatures not agro on u, like the spider, arthro, etc.

But the way it is now, i think its useless

the upper south cave, the north east cave, the caverns of lost hope, the caverns of lost faith and the tek cave are not on mobile, and they don't spawn at the swamp cave or snow cave. i found them in the north west cave, and besides the terrifying cliffs, it was pretty ok. just take some bug repellent and warm armor. and they just sit in certain spots in clusters. the only other creatures in there are araneos, so with a few bug repellents, it's actually pretty easy, but without them the clusters of bats and spiders can be dangerous. you can avoid the cliffs if you don't care about the artifact, but unfortunately if you do want that, you'll have to brave at least one cliff. the cave entrance is so small that i couldn't get my onyc out, so i had to request it.

Be rly carefull.. in caves these guys are extremly Annoying to encounter, they Will have a 10% chance to infect you, when they did you are Almost guarenteed to die. If you and your tribemate are infected, stay away from eachother. The only way to survive is have lots of healing brews or the antitode.... Screw onycs they destroyed my cave experience...

Bring Medical Brews, use them every 2 - 3 seconds if you contract Mega Rabies. Enjoy your antidote free cave runs! ^~^

Watch out when taming, these dudes can carry rabies

For people who don’t know how to tame these all you have to do is:

1.tame an arthropleura

2. Prepare the taming food (anything it likes to eat).

3. Take your arthropluera into a cave where bats spawn

4. Go near a bat and feed it

5.keep feeding until it is tamed

6. Boom now you have an annoying life-ruining shithead that makes me cry everytime it eats me.

For some reason, knocking these guys out is not possible. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or by design, but just remember that these are a passive team
