On old mobile if you kill one in the snow cave then take its implant these things cost 10 amber to revive but unless you tame it instantly the moment after it spawns you will have to build a trap around the revival platform/obelisk or else it will fly away in all directions because unlike other flyers it has no sense of wandering close to the ground. You will also probably need a ghillie suit and bug repellant.

If you are on brutal mode however trying to revive a level 750 onyc will make it turn into a level 1 one

never under any sort of circumstance, go near one of these, even with vulnerability from the God console or admin command. This thing kills you through that de explain this why is it so overpowered?

First of all… these things are very violent.

These bats stop me from raiding my arch enemy’s base they killed all my dinos which included 13 Rexs and 7 of my tribe mates came with me and died extremely quickly.

Things to bring

1.) Bug repellant

2.) Flak/Chitin Armor (or higher)

3.) Spiked walls (wood or metal is fine)

4.) A handy ranged weapon (Rifle, SG, Fab. Pistol, AR, etc.)

5.) Narcotics (If ur looking into taming something)

6.) A durable pike (Doesn’t have to be apprentice or higher)

7.) Food and Water (duh)

8.) Tames that allow knock back (not needed btw)

9.) Your confidence to face these annoying fu-

If you have all of these then you’re set to explore the lava caves. And whatever you do, don’t fricken die.

When the onyc sees you, it will slowly fly towards you. However, if you attack it, onyc will fly much faster until killed or you go out of targeting range.

Found in almost any cave, the Onyc is an absolute nightmare for the unprepared.

Careful of their swarm in Lava caves they will gank you and quickly surround you and push u just little on every hit ... Make sure you have wall behind you and stand with your back against it while fighting them ... Or else Lava ...

These guys give you mega rabies btw so be careful

On Raganorok I had just tamed a pteradon at the Viking bay, I flew over the mountain with my pteradon to the castle I landed on the top of it and all of a sudden I get swarmed by onycs and since my pteradon had no stam we got swarmed and my pteradon “Perry” was killed and I tried to avenge him with my crossbow but was killed! RIP Perry

Some of the bats are infected with super mega rabies witch will massacre you and if you have it you will infecte anyone near

Shouldnt you be able to tame them with blood packs because these bats aren't fruit bats so it would make sense unless these aren't like vampire bats wich dont drink human blood

Bats now deserve some new levels of respect. Like their fellow Cave dweller the Megalania, they have a chance to infect you with Mega Rabies (though only a chance rather the 100% like Megalania)

They are easy to spot and avoid using bug repellent. But due to the new Biological weapon element of them. Engage at a distance where possible. Fight them with sword and pike only as a last resort. Make sure you have a stock of Antidotes or Wyvern Milk before any Splunking

It says these are 'non - violent' but my god! They are not! I found 6 of them inside a cave. These started attacking me on sight, I'm a beginner so I fled the cave and outside was my ptera on attack target mode and they began to fight and they took my ptera so high in the sky that it couldn't hear my whistles and finally they killed my lvl 60 ptera while I stood down helplessly and watched ptera getting killed.

So these annoying anti social bats with aids will make your life miserable.. there is a way to feel better and it’s called alt-4 👍 or just bring a sinomacrops to scare it away 🤷‍♂️

Carry a stack of medical brew on your hotbar. If you contract mega rabies just drink up as your health drops.
