What are tips for moschops? Tips and strategies for moschops in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
He is easy to tame gathers TONS of berries thatch fiber and ok wood just leave him there for a day and you can build a wood base with all the mats and even a bob with tintos can tame him they’re so easy and useful just get 5 on wander in your base never need fiber/wood/thatch again
Hope this helps!
These guys are AMAZING for beginner tames. Get 2 or three and set them to wander. Come back in a few minutes and you can get 1k to 2k fiber along with stacks of berries, even with base rates! Plus they have pretty decent health and can run in a pinch. Great for a first passive tame.
On mobile, Tinto berries are the preferred food. Use it, I got 20% taming on a lvl 80 without a 10x just from 1 feed!
Use rare mushrooms it’s easy to tame but getting a is hard you can hardly find one and females are like lvl 5,10,15,20 males out of no were fricken lvl 70s
For anyone thinking that you have to knock these guys out, no that is the WRONG way to tame them as they will not give you your inventory. This is because when you try to knock them out (i.e. punching/hitting them) their default reaction is the same as that of a parasaur - to view it as a threat, and immediately run away in fear. The way you tame these guys is simple. You feed them any berries found in the bushes (not including stimberries or narcoberries), and then follow them around until they get hungry again. Parasaurs are also herbivores, much like moschops, but parasaurs need to have a bola thrown at them first, especially for new players as they will most likely outrun those guys, but because Bolas deal damage and Moschops will view any form of damage caused intentionally as a threat, and run away fearfully, the exact same fear that will prevent you from taming them. Long story short, you have to be GENTLE when taming moschops, not knock them out like half of every other Dino...
Berries are also an option, and if a moschops asks for something you don't have, leave them be for a while and they will have their wants changed to possibly what you want.
Can also be tamed with mejos. Without needing other food.
This tame takes Mejo berrys too!
I've had these ask for berries too
Easy to tame, it doesn’t need a saddle to ride, and harvests Berry’s so well. A must for beginners.
On mobile, it only take two berries of the individual’s favorite kind to tame. Super easy. Worth it, even if you just want it to carry some of your stuff.
