What are tips for moschops? Tips and strategies for moschops in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
These are great beginner tames. You can usually find at least one that will eat berries. You can ride them without a saddle. They are great collectors and do quite a lot of damage if you ride them. The only downside is that they run away during a fight unless you are riding it.

On aberration obsidian is hard to get and so polymer is too but tame one of these guys I have a level 200 something and I put a ton of levels into organic polymer gathering and killed a karkanos with a spino then had my Moschops harvest him and I got like 300 organic polymer with one of them
By the way I had a times 3 harvest rate on I’m in single player that means you could get like 100 organic polymer with one of them karkanos are easy to kill at least with my spino they are problem solved now you don’t have to goto the hard parts of aberration until your fully ready
If you can’t find any look for the red obelisk follow the rocks the the south east part of the isleland and you’ll see two giant rocks leaning on each other just search on both beaches and look a bit inside the forest.
Insane at gathering organic polymer! Use it!
Set it to wonder and you will have alot of fiber
THESE ARE SO ANNOYING TO TAME ! Im going to tell you a story so I was beginning and I found a moschops *Me: Yes! a easy first tame
Moschops: 1 rex kibble
Me: What! (-_-) ugh *based on true story that happened to me*
These things are so annoying to tame for beginners I had 1 percent to go I was only using berries then boom I had to find prime fish meat?! Be aware of that happening!!!
He is easy to tame gathers TONS of berries thatch fiber and ok wood just leave him there for a day and you can build a wood base with all the mats and even a bob with tintos can tame him they’re so easy and useful just get 5 on wander in your base never need fiber/wood/thatch again
Hope this helps!
These guys are AMAZING for beginner tames. Get 2 or three and set them to wander. Come back in a few minutes and you can get 1k to 2k fiber along with stacks of berries, even with base rates! Plus they have pretty decent health and can run in a pinch. Great for a first passive tame.
