Tips & Strategies

This guy is my favorite dino to start. It can farm LOTS of fiber, chitin, berries, rare mushrooms, rare flowers, polymer, etc. And it has a considerably good melee and health. But people don't see its value just because its a big coward iguana... Lmao. But for real, they're really one of the best dinos to get at the beginning, if not the best. Give this an up to let people know.
The best beginner fiber collector. Set it to wandering and near ferns and the next day you’ll have more than 2 stacks of fiber.
Description:
Wild:
Moschops Cibumutante is one of the many reminders that this Island is full of surprises that simply make no sense given it’s strength compared to behavior.
Despite having a jaw with enough crushing power to break a bone, Moschops Cibumutante is unusually shy when it comes to fighting, and will startle and flee if attacked. It seems to perceive survivors stealing the eggs as a direct attack, as it will flee if this occurs.
Rather, Moschops Cibumutante is far more passive and friendly towards survivors and all other animals, even appearing oblivious towards predators until provoked by them, and will react to humans in a friendly manner.
Domesticated
Moschops Cibumutante is easy to tame and is used for the very purpose of gathering berries and wood (it’s jaw can penetrate trees), and is also tamed as a pet equally often. Just remember, it is reluctant to fight and sometimes displays “coward” behaviors, and it’s personality has been described as “lazy”.

Pro tip: Best and easiest tame to get LARGE EGGS for kibbles, tame a few low leveled ones, 1 male and 4 females is enough to get your kibble farm started.
Use the kibbles to kibble tame high leveled argy and others. I give this useless guy 5 out of 5 stars just because of her their eggs.
Give this an up to let everyone know this.

Moschops is literally one of the best chitin and polymer farmers, if not the best. Kill trilobites with it and you'll see how much chitin it gets (and a bit of oil and pearls too). I spent the last hour killing trilobites with Potato (my Moschops) and got two chests full of chitin. Apparently people don't know this so give it an up to let everyone know.

Moschops on passive: A happy camper :)
Moschops on neutral: Peaceful but runs away when attacked.
Moschops on Assist: Normally happy but gets scared and runs away when it sees a fight between either it’s owner or another tamed animal.
Moschops on Aggressive: I am scared of everything that moves :(

This guy is a passive tame. For everyone that doesn’t know what that is, it basically means that instead of knocking it out you need to give it its preferred food that it shows and then feed it to it by placing the food on your hot bar and then try to consume it while looking on it
Taming tip: if they're asking something that you don't have, just go far away for a sec, and when you come back it will be asking something else. But it only works for the first thing, the next ones you'll have to give them whatever they're asking
Never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER, whistle attack target on a Dino that isn't dead. It will run off, never to be seen again.
If it wants for example giant bee honey and you dont have it you can leave the game so it might be for example mejoberries.Hope this helped🦂🦂🦂
They take Rare Mushroom, Rare Flowers, Gaint honey and berry. If more can you post it. Also do not hit them or your taming failed
If your on a x3 multiplier it will only take one berry.
One look at their egg makes you think "I know why it walks like that."
Don’t make it listen to group whistles. If you whistle a target it will run off. You’ll have to keep an eye on it. After that, whistle stop on it and/or follow. Oh, and if you see Simon make sure to tell him it’s safe now and come home.
After you ate it, set it to wander and pick it up with an argie, fly it slowly through the forest. It will gather until full and level very quickly.
