When playing on the island at easy zone 1, there is a dead end river if your lure it as far back as you can it will get stuck so you can tame it with any trouble.

Do you now how to get a megalidon on shore to attack other dinosaurs

If you want to kill them, just tame a few ichys and watch it die. 4-5 ichys would work. My ichys have killed about 6 of these guys+a lot of mantas

If you do tame: megaladon your Meg will get 30 free levels

Level it up all in speed and it will be faster than a fricken ithy

Gat raft sail out till you find some kill all but one then jump in shoot till close then jump on raft wait for it to go a bit away the do same till it stops moving

I just shoot tranqs off the back of my baryonyx. Really easy taming sharks and other sea creatures that way.

They are easy to tame was taming a manta and it attacked just go to shore and load it with like ten sleeps and feed them fish

If you have an underwater taming pen with a Dino gate, you can trap them! Have a buddy aggro them near the surface, then move your raft over your buddy and the shark! He'll phase through the wall and become trapped in your boat. I recommend leaving him in the pen til the last minute before he tames, because once tamed you won't be able to phase him out as easily!

--TAME A MEGALADON AT LOW LEVEL--

If u want to kill it throw a spear at it then get on a rock up high and shoot it with a bow

If u want to tame it empty your inventory (except for fish meat and narcodics) and grab a slingshot and as many stones as u can comfortably carry. Agro it get on a rock and shoot the fire out of it. (Aim for the water above it as the rocks will fall when they hit the water) If it starts to wander off agro it again.

Once tamed it will only follow you if you're either in the water or driving the boat. If you are standing on the boat it will not follow. Also try to tame as high of a level megalodon you can because other megalodon will attack it.

If you build an underwater taming boat. Put 2 large hatch frames on the bottom. These can fit through them and will be all that much easier to knock out

Lure it into shallow water, stand on shore & shoot tranq arrows. If it runs away, just go back in the water, shoot it, and get back out.

You need to take fins or another water Dino. Also for you noobs regular bows don't work underwater nether do slingshots or guns only use crossbow or harpoon gun.

Create an underwater pen with behemoth gate and choke door and window on other side . Lure into behemoth , close , Slip through choke door - shoot through window , presto

The Megalodon isn't very good compared to creatures like the Dunkleosteus, it isn't as fast as an icthyosaur neither, don't bother taming if you have an icthyosaur to get away from large dinos.

Literally beyond easy to tame, crossbow, swim in circles, aim for the head, knocked out a lvl 15 and it didn't even hit me, it is wise to do it near the surface since it will prob be an early tame so you don't have to go deep to top up torpor, if at all

Used really well to collect angler gel and to kill basilosaurus for oil
