I was riding my Ichthyosaurus across the ocean, and then the a megalodon attacked. (Luckily me, and my 2 icthyos escaped.) Let it be a warning to those who go to the ocean.

If you build an underwater taming boat. Put 2 large hatch frames on the bottom. These can fit through them and will be all that much easier to knock out

Lure it into shallow water, stand on shore & shoot tranq arrows. If it runs away, just go back in the water, shoot it, and get back out.

You need to take fins or another water Dino. Also for you noobs regular bows don't work underwater nether do slingshots or guns only use crossbow or harpoon gun.

Create an underwater pen with behemoth gate and choke door and window on other side . Lure into behemoth , close , Slip through choke door - shoot through window , presto

The Megalodon isn't very good compared to creatures like the Dunkleosteus, it isn't as fast as an icthyosaur neither, don't bother taming if you have an icthyosaur to get away from large dinos.

Literally beyond easy to tame, crossbow, swim in circles, aim for the head, knocked out a lvl 15 and it didn't even hit me, it is wise to do it near the surface since it will prob be an early tame so you don't have to go deep to top up torpor, if at all

Used really well to collect angler gel and to kill basilosaurus for oil

Make a Shark Cage out of wood or better and tranq it with crossbow. You can learn how to make this cage at the Gaming Kiwi YouTube Channel.

Hit it in the head with bow 15 times level1 to level19

Get 5 mosasaurs and 2 stacks of c4 in case and you are good to go

If you want to kill one then get an army of ichthys

How to tame a Megalodon in ARK

One of these motherfrickers killed my prize Spinosaurus. I was running from titanosaurs! Now I'm stuck 6 miles from my base on my pteranadon

When your taking the megalodon once you have knocked it out don’t shoot it again to make it sleep longer use narcotics because then the taming effectiveness will go down and you will get a lower level megalodon

I might be a savage, because right now I’m using fish meat and prime fish meat to tame a lvl 85 and lvl 125. Am I right or am I right?

A million of these have spawned information of that little tip in th the footpaw. Help me.

Everybody says this is terrible and I mostly agree except the fact that I can kill these and it is not very hard for me and my basilosaurus lvl 2 could kill one of these right after I tamed it the meg was lvl 15. Me and my basilosaurus who completely ok not even a hint of being in a fight. How do u guys explain that, huh? My basilosaurus killed it in like 3 seconds I barely knew what happened!!
