to the people who says they are bad they are not they are op, my level 3 megladon saved me from a level 90 mosasaur they are worth taming

This may sound weird but it works. Tame a scorpion and level up damage and then continue to sting the Meg. This actually works I have tried it lol!

So I was in the capabilities section and I saw that the meg can't break stone but I have a water platform made of stone and it gets damaged by megs all the time

It needs to be bigger and have a grab. fun fact in real life the average size is about 45 to 50

Two major ways to tame.

1. Build a trap. They can only fit through behemoth dino gateways. They cannot fit through normal doorways. Lead it (via flippers or an Ichthy) through the behemoth and then exit via the smaller normal doorways. Close the gate and knock it out. Megs can't damage stone, FYI.

2. Get flippers or an Ichthy and find a good shark. Shoot at it. When it (and all nearby sharks) gets close swim away. Repeat until it's unconscious. Put your food on it and then kite the other nearby megs out of render distance. They won't attack it while unconscious but they will as soon as it's tamed.

I was taming an 174 Argy and I was in the ice biom and it was on a piece of floating ice and then a level 76meg comes and attacks it from the bottom anb killed it I didn't even know it. Then I enjoyed every second when I was killing it I made it as painfully as I could.

Most fun way to do it is get a two long guns with tranq arrows and go shark hunting with a friend (or by yourself). Haveing a harppon tranq gun also helps with agroing and if it goes deeper underwater

Why a icthy why not sarco or Barry sarco are very fast underwater and Barry can easily defend the shark why doing its stun attack icthy weak not as fast as sarco and finally can’t go out of water like sarco and Barry can 😎 GO BARRYS AND SARCOS!

I killed a level 13 with a slingshot and it had about 700 health and took about 75 rocks. ( some were missies) I takes about an hour or so. Good luck

I hate this thing. I was taming an Equus and he fled to the water. I saw this guy swimming around it and then I had to search a new Equus to tame. RIP beautiful Equus.

Hit it in the head with bow 15 times level1 to level19

unless you are level 5002 or something you will be killed by these beasts and they will follow you they are fast watch out for them

Yes, if this were a true meg,t'would be bigger. In the NYC museum of natural history, they've a jaw hanging over a doorway. I think it was over 10 feet wide.

More simple and fast way bring it to shore traq it put x10 and prime meat and boom that’s it

You want to try to get it alone out of experience there really anoying in a group

Since their TLC these guys are unstoppable! I made a "little" hunting pack (9 sharks for max pack boost) from offsprings of a level 208 pair (the female was wild caught, wild level was 145, the male was bred but with same stats as the female) and they did around 850 damage with a hit (i don't really know If that was the bleed or the actual damage, but it was insane anyways i think). They killed a level 20 alpha mosa in less than a second. So i think they are clearly powerful now.

Note: my pack has around 5k basic HP and around 400% meele.

I think a found a bug in mobile to where if you are killed by one you lose all you items

I knockout these so quickly and it knocks out by jellyfish there goes a tame

If you lead them in shallow water killing them is not that hard but they are annoying in deep water.
