Took about 600 narcs to tame a 150. Don't use arrows, very low health and chance of it dying.

It can be bred up to become the BEST cave mount in entire game. Move aside Thylacoleo, Megalania is here.

DO NOT tame one in the lava cave. They can not leave the cave and you will get thrown into a spin cycle if you try to climb.

They have short torpority and perfer meat, but still likes baryonyx kibble.

Watch out- they’re faster than they look, and so is the speed of their torpor dropping. If you’re on Ragnarok, you can use a Ptera to drop it into a 2 by 2 stone pen with walls 2 high and shoot it through a doorframe for an easy KO. Anywhere else... good luck taming the AIDS from Down Under.

After KO, force feed 200 narcotics to glitch its torpor bar. Now you can use 10 narcs every 5 minutes to tame.

For a lvl 150 it only takes 29k narcs and 70 hours to tame with cooked fish! Best way to tame imo.

You can pick these guys up with pteradons. I'm not sure if it's an intended feature but it looks hilarious. Make sure to bring a tame along to tank while you tranq, if it bites you once your dead so keep your distance.

Apex predator of is time hunted procoptodons

and even thylacaleo's. Watch out for that poisonous bite

You can pick these things up with peers, just so you know.

I'd rather tame this boi out in the open on rag than in a cave looking at you carnivorous caverns

I just notice this* Says that this is can be picked up by the megalosaurus. Therefore, if you tamed you megalosaurus in the cave, you can pick up the megalania and be on your way fast if you are on ark mobile.

Be careful when in caves as these things can climb upside and have a infectious bite.
