Every bite will give you a disease that lasts for 80 seconds called Mega Rabies. It's contagious, rapidly drains your health and stamina, and also curable if you have lesser antidotes or wyvern milk.

These Creatures are a very common spawn in the redwood cave behind the waterfall on the center map at the back just a Tip!

Also megalania spawn in specific plains in lost island.

These things blend in almost perfect with the darkness of the caves so always be on the lookout... or you deeeaaaddd

Megalania giving you a bad time? This toxic bite sounds like what modern Komodo Dragons have. They bite with a mix of venom and bacteria. This giant lizard is essentially Komodo’s great great great granddaddy.. They likely had a similar trait if you are all feeling sick after encountering one.

You can find them on the ceiling in the southern cave on scorched earth, didn't know they were and got the boots scared off me.

Do not, and I repeat do not get bitten from these bastards! They will give you a disease that’ll suck all your health until it’s nearly finished!

You can find Megalania in Genesis at Volcano biome at south outside. I do not know are there Megalania inside the volcano.

I have personally had trouble finding these guys on single player, but I found a tip that will help you guys! All you have to do is eat rare flowers and everything will aggro on you including these guys. They spawn in the redwood cave, carnivore Island cave the artifact of the hunter cave and the lava cave.

Despite having a temper of aggressive and a carnivore it gets attacked by other creatures.i have seen wild ones attack wild creatures it does Zero damage,plz wildcard make mega rabies apply for wild creatures too...

This thing CAN HANG FROM CEILINGS! Scared the shit out of me when i was walking in a cave and 2 fell from the ceiling. Watch out for the mega rabies as it will drain your health. Make spare beds when in the cave to save your stuff if you die. Carry antidote as well as a saving grace.

Despite it's size,A FREAKING KAPROSUCHUS IS ABLE TO CARRY IT!!!plz keep this in mind when taming.
