You can shoot from its back 360° unlike other creatures that only have a 180° range (half circle) to Climb you must right click. Its very helpful for taming things because you can shoot from any angle and stick to any surface

I was gonna take my lvl 210 into the crystal cavern for some wyvern eggs, but a bary decided that we weren’t allowed to swim there. Knocked me off my megalania and decided my lizard was more important than me. It kept stunning us until I finally got a grip and swam around it and dove in with my hatchet and killed it. My poor lizard was at 700/4300 something, so I had to go back to base.😢 dumb bary tail attack is broken.

Megalanias are simply the best climber that isn’t a rock drake because thylas and deinonychus are extremely buggy when climbing. They’re great for caving and taming things by climbing around, just beware that their bite does almost no damage against tames. Utilize their rider weaponry and bring a shotgun or compound bow.

They need to be on Valguero there is no reason for them to not be on Valguero

In case there are some noobs out there that don’t know what the Megalania can do, as I once did, it’s basically a death gecko. It can climb anything in any direction, including upside down, and can inflict mega rabies

Infects attacked survivors with rabies which will slowly kill them unless cured. Rabies is contagious and passed to other survivors in close proximity. So unleash a plague and then exit swiftly.
