Easiest way to tame it is by pulling urself under the cave ceiling with grappling hook and feel free shooting it.

This is a good tame if you have shocking tranquilizers and some prime meat

If you wanna tame a high level one of these like a 140 then go on regnarok and go to the volcano beach and you might find a few after you do that pick it up with a argent and knock it out on foot (there kinda slow so doing this will be easy then once you knock it out GET NARCOTICS QUICK it’s torpor go’s down so quick then put prime meat in it then you got yourself a over sized lizard.

Narcoberries are more efficient than narcotics on megalanias and other creatures with fast torpor drop rates since narcoberries add less torpor over a longer period of time.

If you are tameing them in a cave, you can’t leave or they will be despawned!!!!!

People are over exaggerating about taming these guys.

1: Enter a cave and look at the ceiling(they tend to hang upside down).

2: Get their attention.

3: They have a super weak bite that does 6-7 damage and using a DireBear or Thylo is recommended.

4: Just shoot tranqs from the back of your tame as they can’t contract mega rabies.

5. Prime meat can work but make sure to carry some before entering the cave because their torpor drains fast.

I’m level 72 ish and managed to tame a level 55 - I used over 80 narcotics and hundreds of Narcoberries.

Luckily there wasn’t much around when doing this I’d say it took about 30-45 minutes to tame I let it starve to nearly halfway (go halfway is my tip) bring a high level Parasaur or Trike it’s ability to harvest huge amount of Narcos from bushes nearby without it - no chance. Only ate something like 15-20 meats after it starved for that long which was a bonus. If another Mega does come near bola it and draw it’s attention away better yet get the Mega your trying to take away - it does run off though when it’s close to being knocked out so you may not be able too. So. Lots of Narcos the more the better, low level or run out narcs get para of trike with you.

I have caught one in the lava cave . Fortunately my thylacoleo was with me and I brought some tranq darts. It attacked my thyla and I knock it down..

Be aware it's torpor drains very fast so if you wanna tame them bring some narcotics, Stimulent, antidote, and mutton with you..

Use Rare Flowers to lure them out..works great...me and my girlfriend went through the entire cave and didnt see any...then got rare flowers and found 2 within minutes

Recommended give them Raw Prime Meat even low level and very recommended using Bio Toxin cuz of their torpidity drain too fast for me. Sadly... Accidentally make a base in Extinction "The Trench" 😐 search the The Trench in wiki and read it.....

They re easy to find at ragnarok at the cave entrance of the scar. Coords 16-68. If you re looking for a 150, just keep killing them and keep coming back. They respawn almost instantly. ...

If you want to tame this guy use Tek helmet, with tek helmet it's easy to spot them in caves

This creature is actually not as hard to tame as you may think. All you need to do is find the one you want, and tank it with a beefy mount while you tranq it. As far as torpor, I’ve found that the easiest way to extend the use of narcotics on this creature is to feed it 10, wait until it starts to drop, and feed it 10 more. Repeat this process until starved.It’s easy and works every time guaranteed. Tame on Rag highlands north for easy mutton access as well.

I really love the concept of this creature but i think it needs a buff in damage it is one of my favorite creatures but it is lacking and almost barely tops the equus in melee damage i do not see how this creature can do anything. So ark plsss give this creature a buff.

Can be grabbed by karkinos and held while you hop off and tranq it. Just don't let it bite you or you get the heros.

Just run with your crossbow and shoot with tranq arrows these moschops from hell are slow so u can easily escape them but DONT GET BITTEN
