These things are lonely and have no friends, go up to one and hug it. Make sure to hit it with an arrow to make it in love and it will come up to you. If you die, it's from the contagious love of hugs you gave it. You can often find them in caves by themselves crying, so show some love, be a good person and be it's best friend.
