On PlayStation the babies eat Sulfur 50 food per eat and the food drains slow won’t need much to raise on 1x

So when your wanting to steal an egg it’s really simple:

Make sure you have a suitable tame to actually arrive at the egg ( recommend bloodstalkers )

Once you have found the egg you want start the biome teleportation, and pick the egg up just before you teleport and done upload it and go hatch.

It’s just like a velo but bigger. it goes weak I cold and strong in heated areas. it is capible if far ranged attacks and is a moving forge it can swim in lava but eats oil and gasoline to survive. its saddle protects you from the heat but other people around it will start to take damage so keep it pretty safe and far

Can eat stone as well to save oil and gasoline for more important matters

I hatched an egg and poof I got to tame three magmasurs

When raising the magmasaur the food drain rate is 720 food every hour and you can’t feed it cause it doesn’t hold 5 weight until it runs out of food and starts to drain health on consoles. 1 food is good for about 500 food value. This is all on 1x

I just went in grab the egg go out as quickly as possible.

Stealing an egg there’s two easy methods:

1. Find an egg with no magmasaurs within regular aggro range. Stand next to it and teleport away via HLNA. Whenever the haxagon walls of the bubble are about to reach the top, take the egg and you will be safely teleport out.

2. Get a Bloodstalker. Jump up high and slowly drift down using control (PC)/LB + RB (Xbox)/ L1 + R1 (PS) until you can see an egg, any egg. Once you’ve found one, release the drifting button(s) and get off of the Bloodstalker, take the egg, get back on the Bloodstalker and grapple to a high up point, you will be out of range of the magmasaurs and you can then safely escape.

To hatch the egg you will need 20 standing torches for it to hatch in any weather (not sure about Arctic zones). You will need to feed the baby Ambergris which can be acquired through mining the rocks with green glowing veins in them in the Lunar biome with a pickaxe or mining drill or anky. The Bloodstalker is very useful for traversing the Lunar biome. You can also get mastercraft Magmasaur saddles at a decent rate from the Bottle Nosed Blitz mission, which is very easy, even on alpha. To easily steal it’s egg on lost island I suggest using a maewing, you have to have the balls though. Get on your maewing and glide into the cave (suggest to scout out a bit first) then just glide him near the egg, jump off, grab the egg, ride it again and get the hell out of there

Baby Magmasaurs will only eat Ambergris, mine it from the lunar biome.

I suggest consuming a cactus broth bring like 3 parachutes and run in, start a teleport grab the egg right before you teleport sounds easy huh?, well it is! This is the way if you dont have a bloodstalker

Don’t go in with a blood stalker as it’s risky, go in with a grappler as your blood stalker could get stuck , make this a high comment so people can see

It be nice if the devs made some alternative to ambergris for imprinting because I am on lost island (a map with no ambergris) and would like a 100 percent imprint but I can’t because there no ambergris on lost island up so other people can see please

Using a crafted Mek inside the volcano is very good for grabbing eggs, the eruption also won’t damage you if inside a Mek the whole time.

If you are in the cave where the magmasaur eggs are when the volcano erupts you are toast

Sulfur is glitched currently. So babies are not consuming it. Ambergris is needed. If not use snow owl to heal them as they are raised.

Trust me its easyier to hatch it with around five stone fire places it takes way less wood and space. Same with wyvern and deinchust or however you spell there name!

Can breed on val in loot cave. It’s simple just walk it into the lave and stand on saddle. Use a whip to gather the eggs.
