Magmasaurs can be found at the end of the fire wyvern trench. You find eggs back in that cave and you also get element back there. Hope this helps!

Get a good lvl carcha and flyer, go to lost island go to their nest, get carcha, get them out of nest, watch out for fireballs, kill them, stole eggs.

Works always, as for flyer tho I recommend desmodus

An easier way of obtaining Magmasaur eggs is to level up a Gigantopithiscus in the health and speed catagories, then bolt into the mountain, jumping over the bugs. Once you get to the magmasaur ‘den’ use a whip to gather a few eggs then get outta there

When you dont have Ambergris, but still raising one. Use a Snowowl to heal the baby!

If you are trying to grab an egg on foot. A parachute and a grapple hook work pretty good

To tame these little guys, you need to steal a egg from them, the best place to get the egg is in Fjordur.

The easiest way is to use Desmodus with stamina build, you can be invisible with it (that means that others dino can’t attack you while you’re invisible). Land next to a egg and grab it asap, you just need to return to your Desmodus and fly away.

CAUTION!!!!! You can encounter Wyverns, so try doing this in the night (Desmodus ability its better during the night)

Use a desmodus’s Invis to go in the cave and steal an egg. I got a 140 doing this!

Ambergris last a lot longer in tek troughs.

Don't have tek? No problem. Just transfer your character with the ambergris in your inventory. Before you spawn, quit and return to main menu. Then re-download your character next to your troughs and your ambergris spoil timer is reset. 👍🏽

so first thing u want to do is go to fjordur and get roughly 50 blood packs as you will most likely get picked up by multiple desmodi as you will need to tame one one you get a high lvl one with high stamina you will then need to craft a whip once u get into the cave and do this on lost island you then need to wait till night then go invisible once invisible fly to an egg with not many magmasaurs nearby once u get to it equip ur whip and take it and instantly get out of there as they will all be aggrod when your getting out make sure to fly higher up for more time to evade searing spit and bam you got out with shitty lvl 20 magmasaur eggs and you wasted your time.

To feed they eat sulfur as baby's.

My dad came up with a fool proof strat, using a high level procoptodon, you can circle around the lava and aggro every magmasaur, but you are much faster, so do a circle and while they’re on the other side, hop off and grab the eggs, get back on and hop around, before you know it, you have every egg in cave

To get a Magmasuarus Egg on fjordur Just tame a Desmodus and then fly in to the cave, land, take egg, fly away

If you have plan on raising babies, (basically getting them) have a way to get like 15-20 stacks of sulfur to be safe, and for future magmas, also it takes DAYS to grow up, like 3 days no joke. It wants imprint every 8 hours, I highly recommend leaving them overnight otherwise it will take a week or something crazy, it’s hard to get full imprint so don’t expect it. When they are tamed they are metal harvesters, obsidian, stone, crystal, and they can just walk through lava. Also dealing nice damage. If they die, cry.

On lost island they spawn in 2 caves north of the volcano, one is at the beginning of a lava stream and the other has 2 entrances on ground level and doesnt have lava coming out of the entrance. Basically just get in and get out quick as they can one shot you off your tame if hit directly. The eggs need access to the hottest temperatures in ark for incubation so you will need a large amount of torches to hatch. Requires sulfer on lost island and ambergris on gen 2, abilities include smelting on the go and a spit attack that can be charged into a massive fireball that consumes 1 metal ingot, a AOE attack around the creature, or just simply can be held at 100% charge to burn everything around it. Will keep you warm in cold biomes but looses access to most of its abilities when in water or cold.

First off: DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYONE THAT SAYS ITS A KNOCKOUT OR PASSIVE TAME! You need to steal they’re eggs from underneath the volcano in Genesis. I am not including fjordur or lost island. (Why? Cause I don’t have those dlcs yet. I play switch.)

Second: if you are able to locate it, be aware that the volcano can erupt and murder you, so you might want to be quick. I recommend a grappling hook or a bloodstalker. Other than that, on foot is dangerous ⚠️

As there are a lot of bugs and x rock elementals and, duh, magmasaurs. (They are not just gonna leave they’re nest unprotected)

Finally: once you find your future unborn child, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY OR ELSE YOUR DONE FOR!!! If you steal more eggs, then heck your braver then me. Cause I don’t like risking my life for more eggs. One is good enough, unless you want to mutate it.

If your stealing a magmasaur egg use a desmodus to turn invisible

There is a Nest, that is far away from the others in a different canyon. If you hang with a Bloodstalker on the ceiling of the Cave . Now you can easily kill all Magmasaurs with Compoundbow, Pumpgun or Fabricatedsniper and grab an Egg. With more players you can also try to control the main Cave.

Ok, so after you get yourself one of these eggs from the volcano and get back home, you need to heat it up so that it hatches, then as it’s maturing it will want to eat Ambergris, then as adults they will eat meat and rocks.

If u find an egg l, get beside it (without agroing the magmasaurs) and then teleport to another biome. Right as the teleport is finishing pick up the egg and you should teleport away with no harm.

They only eat embergriss when baby but if you force feed to adults they regain lots of health and it has no cool down (you can only get ambergriss in the lunar biome from

the rocks the glow green)
