Lure Magamasaurs to on side of the lava pit with a gun, then use a bloodstalker to get down to a nest quickly, grab the eggs, and get out of the lava pit. You can repeat this process to consistently get eggs, but the proccess is still risky. I have done the method several times, so I know from personal experience that it works.

To acquire the eggs of a magmasaur you have to actually go into the volcano in the volcanic region. The entrance of the cave is very noticeable with bright glowing purple crystals around it. Going inside you’ll find smaller creatures (onycs, araneos, and pulmonoscorpiuses) and larger much more threatening creatures like magmasaurs and rock golems. When in the cave watch out for araneos since getting webbed by them is practically a death sentence and be careful of magmasaurs shooting their searing spit (fireball) at you since it has a very long range. After grabbing the egg I recommend grappling to the ceiling and using a parachute down but also spam grappling to get away from magmasaurs work. Be extremely careful when getting these eggs and make sure you’re prepared to take care of the baby when raising because it is a major chore and you don’t want to waste effort.

For the person who’s dad used the Procoptodon to get the eggs, how will it survive? Just level health?

If you want to know how long you can feed your magmas with a TEK trough, use (Ambergris/# of magmas)x41.66=minutes left. Keep in mind your spoil timers.

I had so much luck. I went into the magmasaur cave on fjordur and i found an egg completly left alone so i could land and take it and they didnt even notice. Later when i already started to hatch the egg i went back to the adults to just watch them. I was in the air apretty far away of them but i didnt know how strong they actually are. One of them spit on me(looks like they have an incredible range) and killed me (lvl 87) and my wyvern(lvl 72) with one hit!

This is how I got an egg on fjordur

1: have an argent (better if it's bred and 100% imprinted)

2: find an explorer note (or rune on fjordur)

3: level up stamina slightly then raise its health stat to 7000+

4: make a cactus broth

5: get close to the magmasaur cave then eat the broth

6: go in grab an egg then get out

Whoever said you can’t feed magmasaurs on Xbox is wrong, they eat sulfur but you just can’t force feed it to them, they eat it on their own.

If you get a blood stocker with like 130 speed then you’ll be able to grab an egg and get out

Whenever you’re trying to hatch one you need like 13 air conditioning in the ocean biome or if you spawn in some e Hatchers, you have to bring it to 100°

Get a high lvl bloodstalker max it in health and stamina and go down with the web get off grab the egg get back on NOW RUN!!!

These guys are a pain because the only way to tame them is find a magmasaur nest with them alive and a way to do it is grab as many eggs as possible the get your butt out of there and get an incubator hatch a male and female so you can breed them Boom never go back to the nests again… unless you they die but that’s why you get mor than 2 your welcome.

strategy 1. Is to (since Magmasaurs are on lost island too) use a Sinomacrops, a high level Sinomacrops, grab the egg and fly away.

Strategy 2. If you wanna get Magmasaurs from genesis, use the HLN-A bot, when you see a nest with a egg, go a little closer to it, tell HLN-A to teleport you away and then quickly grab the egg

Stealing & Hatching Eggs and Ect:

I would recommend a Desmodus, Oviraptor, Pterodon, Galimimus, and/or an argy. Go around the nest carefully and (if on desmodus and turn invisible when you’re near the nest) make sure there are little to none Magmasaurs. If there are Magmasaurs, I would recommend you have good melee and health because they’ll burn your dinosaur to death easily, so, you have to try to kill them off before they kill you after you get off your ride. (If you have an Oviraptor, put it on follow and make it grab the egg) I recommend you get more than 1 egg, you’ll find out why you need that much later. After that, you grab the eggs and get back on your ride and run off with your amazing Magmasaur eggs.

I do not recommend using standing torches because last time I put more than 10 and it was still cold, I think Air Conditioners would be a better option. Once hatched, the Magmasaurs will be loosing health. Do not make the mistake I did and give it rocks, it starved to death because I misread information. Instead, give it about 4-5K sulfur so then you don’t have to check on it so often. You could also use a Daedon to heal your Magmasaurswhich I have heard that it works. Once grown, your Magmasaurs is very large and you’re pretty sure it’s getting lonely. To get it to mate, you have to get your female Magmasaur and bring them both to a pool of lava. Once there, you must turn mating on and wait a bit until they are finished and there, lies your freshly laid egg awaiting to be hatched. I really hope this helped you and good luck trying this out!
