They seem to wear themselves out after a bit of attacking. I killed a lvl 25 with a metal pike pretty easily.

Be careful because a level 50 can pretty much instakill you while you're mounted

When I was looking for eggs, I found a 150 rex and tamed it, but when I put it in a cryopod, a magmasaur comes and kills my ferox and chases me all the way back to base. I was able to kill it but it killed my rex army I spent day's on trying to stack mutations on for the master controller, I have now moved into the bog but I still am afraid of them

These beasts can be found in the volcano biome on gen 1 all around most common inside the volcano protecting there eggs taking them on from range is not a good idea as they have a devastating range attack that can destroy even a tek base. Best from of attack would be to whistle a Dino onto the magmasaur as they have 2 AOE attacks that both harm and kill the player

I actually spawned this thicc boi in The Island, Primitive Plus. It’s real great and fun to ride. Do note that walking in shallow water, such as the swamps, does not damage the magmasaur. I did have to ForceTame it to be able to ride it. They are really great for traveling, because smaller, more annoying creatures don’t attack it, such as troodons and and raptors. However, the larger carnivores, Carno and bigger, do try to attack them but to no avail as this dude is op. Btw, the cheat code for you console players is ( cheat gmsummon “cherufe_character_bp_c” 200 0 0) If you are on single player, it is important to add (cheat) before (gmsummon) as it will not work otherwise. :)))))

Nobody's posted this yet i am realy suprized but if you have a wooly mammoth with water and its trunk and you spray these guys it will instantly kill them in near sec!!!! If your having trouble with eggs or just want revenge then cryo then pull out when you see one of these. And then watch as it says I'm melting what a world what a world hahahaha!!!

Magmasaurs are usually found where other magmasaurs are. Up if this helped.
