My favorite gen 2 creature great mount and take care of baby creatures

Everyone needs one of these. They are the ultimate travel tame. On land, they have a quick pace, in water, they're as fast as a tuso. But once in the air, you can nyoom around the map in no-time!!

Not sure how long this will last. Maewing's bellyflop won't normally harvest, but for some reason, if the flop hits a wild dino, it will harvest. If you spam bellyflops, it will still harvest as long as the first one hit. Doesnt work on corpses, the wild has to be alive. Give it a shot, it's super satisfying.

Belly slam gathers tons of berries and thatch

When tamed they can carry all dinos that are not adults. The only exception being reapers, and gigas. When tamed as well of your looking to not imprint the baby make sure you disable following as if they want to go on a walk they will imprint in the basket.

Really good to use around the map and all around, its basically a rock Drake, I prefer it over a pteradon, and even an argy. You want to pump Stamina and weight, pumping speed isn't necessary, due to its ability to glide.

Despite not having genders you CAN breed Maewings with one another as you would any other Dino.

When you are imprinting on a baby and it needs to go for a walk, if it’s one of the more frustrating dinos to walk, put it in the Maewing pouch and whistle the baby, mount and run. It’ll count for your walking imprint and only take a few strides.

When using to nurse babies..make sure the meat is in its inventory and not feeding trough. Lost two babies to starvation

People think you can’t breed them because they don’t have a gender but you can you will get 2 fertilized eggs in total from the perents

Makes perfect sense that they can both lay eggs. Many real species can lay eggs with or without a male. Some species even have both male and female organs. Flatworms for example are hermaphrodites and have a sort of duel to decide who will give up the energy required to bring up a child. As this species is used as a bioengineered nanny it would make more sense to make these animals capable of playing both roles to save space. I believe this is an intended feature and won't be going anywhere.

This creature has a 50% weight reduction no food.

The Maewing is able to harvest berry’s and fiber as well as take care of your baby’s. It’s capable of jumping into the air and gliding surprisingly fast. When your gliding you can crashing down on a slope and you’ll begin to sled down the hill destroying all trees and rocks in your path.

Maewings, when tamed, will passively lay unfertilized eggs (and quite frequently!) And not just any eggs, but can be all the way to extraordinary!

They also can endlessly multiply if you have two.

It may not work on PC or mobile since I only play on console.

One of the top 2 creatures for berries, Fiber. Because you can belly flop and bite at same time and gather the fiber. And if you add 2k weight.. you can black box it with fiber or berries. unlike the bronto you can’t move after getting black box of berries.
