Maewings can carry up to four baby’s and can spray milk and is a MUST tame

If you have a baby creature and no meat Maewing is your savior but when it’s like 60 70 percent it can’t be fed trust me I grew a whole sarco from it

Nets are essential- just some metal and a couple polymer with your harpoon, a little meat or even better, basic kibble to go with it and a slingshot can knock a low level- no need for traps or anything else

I went to the redwoods and I was there for ten minutes I did not find any I checked in Asgard at the huge spine none there so I went to the blue Ob I found a bunch there check there if and stay until you tame one and get it to base

There is actually a really good trap to get these guys- you need 1 rare flower, 1 stone foundation, 2 stone walls, 3 stone double door frames, and 2 stone stairs. First, you place the foundation. Next, you place one double doorframe on one side. On the opposite side, you place 2 of the door frames, on top of eachother. You place the walls on the sides that don't have anything on them, add stairs to the lower double doorframe part leading into the trap, make sure the maewing is away from other creatures, eat the flower, run through the trap, staring at the stairs, walk out of the other side, and the maewing is trapped! These guys are way more easy to take them you think they are. It's just a knockout tame. Pretty simple. At least in my opinion.

Bring nets to tame these guys, when you attack them they launch up and glide away

For this you need 5 wooden or stone dino gateways and two gateway door you also need a rare flower to get it mad when it get in run and close the gate.

The billboard trap method still works. If you place your first one correctly it won't turn and walk away and you can freely place 2 more to make an acute triangle.

I suggest if your a farther level unlocking the harpoon gun and net projectile alot easy but the hard part is getting poly after that it has low torpor I think it is around 10 tranq darts with a prim longneck

When we tame these we always cage a sheep or 3 just before knock out (two man job) then starve for a bit and kill the sheep as needed. Sometimes I even add a spark box!

Make sure to add large wood signs around it and then tame then knock it out and tame that amazing platypus/flying squirrel 😎

Use a bow with tranquillize arrows it is the easiest way to do it.

You have to bet gun it then with darts or arrows shoot it in the side to do bonus torpor.

Someone said that you can use meat for taming, than it’s a herbivore after tame. It’s a herbi before and after. Using meat is just more effective than berries.

Using the net gun made for simple taming but does do the knock out animation so you have to check for it.

It's an omnivore it eats the mutton.
