How to tame on fjorder! (Bc that’s the map I’m on♥️)

items needed: Net gun, Net projectile, Kibble/Berries/Meat and a good Dino for protection (Thylacoleo spawn near and by the Maewing spawn area)

1. There located in the redwoods, North East, Top right corner of the map

2. Go to 21.18 83.3 and you should see a lake and then you should see them/one now it gets tricky..

3. If it’s out of the water you are in luck!! If it’s in the water that’s gonna be harder, if it’s in the water shoot it so it comes out but you will have to chase after it because they won’t come and attack you once you find it net-projectile it and knock it out (preferable weapon: Shotgun). If it’s on land just projectile it and knock it out.

4. Feed it the kibble/Berry/Meat(It’s a omnivore) and watch it’s torpor just incase it doesn’t go down that fast but still.

5. Watch out for predators like: Terror bird, Thylacoleo, Direbear, Troodon all of the dangerous stuff.

6. cryopod the Milker and take it back to base, place it down, name it(if you have a name) and yea! You got a maewing :)

How to use(Nursing)

Items needed: Meat(if carnivore or omnivore)Berrys(If herbivore or omnivore) etc(if diff)inside of the maewings inventory. Proceed to put your baby to the maewing, go into the maewings wheel and press nursing mode and milk will uhh.. *silence* squirt out of its.. tittys yea uhm.. Ignore that😃. Your baby’s will have a trough above there head, that means the maewing is nursing them, it will make them go up so you don’t have to do it by putting food in the baby/trough. But you still have to take part and put food in the maewing. Cryopod your baby’s and turn off nursing for the maewing when logging off unless you have a tribe member who will watch over the baby’s a little and get meat etc for the baby’s to put in the maewing.

First off you can use a net to trap it.

If u don’t have a net you can shoot fast, you have 6-7 seconds before it ascends to heaven

It prefers meat more than berries but if you don’t have any meat then mejoberies are the next best thing

Once tamed these “milky mamas” -the wise words of syntac, can hold and feed babie Dino’s, mammals, and reptiles. (I recommend having a dimetrodon next to the Maewing to act as a incubater while egg hatches

These guys are fast af. Probably as fast as a dive bombing griffin or snow owl!

Once tamed transfer it to a map with rock drakescor wyverns and then put them in the maewings pouch an boom u can raise them

Let’s admit it the fact this can be tamed with basic kibble is ridiculous for the utility these things have

Bro I just realized that they can swim

This needs a tek saddle that works like a fridge or is just a normal tek saddle

If you want to knock out and tame a maewing, use the net projectile and net it. If you don't, one hit makes it flee and it'll fly away into the sky and you'll have to chase it. The net immobilizes it so you can take your time knocking it out.

We don't know how to tame it but I'll tell you what it will do when it's realised on 21st march 2021 in genesis part 2. So this thing will be able to kidnap baby creatures by luring them towards it to suckle on it nipples on the side of its body. It is literally the weirdest creature in the game 😂

They can be bred right now, both will lay eggs. It is too hot at 76F. Don't know if this is intended or not since they're genderless.

Really easy tames, have great weight, and are incredibly fast. To tame a low lvl simply shoot it with your x-bow and tranq arrows. For high lvl i reccomend a trap, but you can just tranq it, hunt it down, and tranq it again, otherwise if you have a high quality x-bow or longneck you can use that. Once KO'd feed pretty much any kind of food, mutton works best but you can use normal meat or mejo berries. Hope you find this useful.

Get yourself an oviraptor weigh him down in inventory and set him to wander the maewing will produce you every type of kibble egg....

Isolate the one you wanna tame, set up a large bear trap, use a rare flower to lure into the trap, tranq it( wont take much ), put food( it's an omnivore ), and FLY AWAYYYYY with your maewing.

After this, he will love you so much that he will never give you up or let you down.

These are the controls on console. X for small jump, hold X for super jump, sprint (L3) and jump equals glide (I don't remember if you have to hold X when gliding so be careful). These are the co trols for Playstation so I hope this helps!

If you mate Maewings together both parents will drop an egg, The eggs are tiered like kibble and used to make that type of kibble.
