Crash!!! Jebris jumped out of the bush, Crash!!! She looked around, confused. Crash!!! She grabbed a berry from the bush, Roar!!!!! A giant Rex was standing above Jebris, she sprinted towards the charcoal-coloured scales of the beast’s leg and clambered up. She ran up its back and sprayed narcoberry juice into its eyes, it roared in pain and eventually crashed into the ground, its eyes were red with pain. Jebris found an old cloth bag and scooped up some water in it, then she poured the water into the rex’s eyes. Then she pounced on a nearby turtle and bit into its neck until it collapsed. Next she dragged the body towards the rex and placed it by its mouth, then she walked away.

Meanwhile at the Manticore’s lair,

The Manticore had found the ship, it was slowly getting closer to earth, where the arks were headed. He grabbed some nearby pteranodons and smothered them in the corruption but then, he fell in, he was too heavy to swim back up and it was to gooey for him to use his wings, he was covered in the corruption. None of his body was showing. He rose upwards with the pteranodons. He felt powerful, he dashed towards the ship and entered through one of the trash deposits.

Now to the girl,

She dashed into Rockwell’s garden into a tunnel, full of flesh, she looked around, and saw a small 4 legged creature. Like an alien jerboa. It pounced onto her head and started controlling her, it took her deeper into the cave.

Gotta end it here, my phone is almost out of battery.

after berries stood vigil for claw for an hour he decided to go home. he could tell his parents were annoyed at him for still living with them when hes a full grown jerboa. when he got home his parents were at the entrence of the den with disapproving looks on their faces.

mom sighed. “berries.. ur dad and i have been talking… and we think its time for u to go. u have had enough time to grieve for ur lost m@te.”

dad nodded. “yeah. u need to go and experience the world. plus we cant afford to feed u and clean up after u anymore.”

berries heart sank. was he getting kicked out? “wh.. mom.. dad…. im ur son? h.h.ow c.c.c..ould u??” he choked out. berries took a deep breath. “f..fine. ill go.” then he turned tail and left.

jerboa families are needlessly cruel in berries opinion. a deep realization hit him. he would not survive long without a m@te. he began to panic. his brother and azul definitely wouldnt let him stay with them for a while. he was truly on his own. who would even wanna be with him. suddenlt he saw a figure in the distance. he realized that it was fangs! shes single. berries ran over to her. “fangs!” he called out.

she turned to look at him. “berries? what r u doing here?” she asked.

berries sighed. “i got kicked out of my den. i.. i dont think ill survive much longer on my own.” he explained

fangs stared deeply at him. “what r u saying?”

“i… i really like u fang. a..and i was wondering…” he refused to make eye contact with her bc if she looked into his eyes she would probably see through his lies. “will u be my m@te?”

fangs stepped back. “i dunno..”

“please!” he cried. “i… l…l..ove u?”

she giggled. “i was just kidding! of course we can be b0yfriend and g1rlfriend!” she nuzzled his shoulder.

berries let out a sigh in relief. maybe he was going to survive after all. but with a m@te he doesnt love? he missed claw so much…

berries stared at azul hardly procesing what she had just said. how dare she tell him to forget about the love of his life.

“i will never. ever. forget. claw.” he choked out then turned and left her. berries had a lot on his mind. he was tired. he just wanted to see claw again. but he was gone. berries arrived at the sunny meadow where he buried claw. he layed down as he sobbed.

suddenly he heard faint footsteps. his instincts screamed at him to run bc it could be a pretator. he didnt listen. he was to tired.

“what are u doing?” said a vaguely framiliar voice. berries looked up. it was fangs.

berries didnt feel like answering. but he did anyway. “m.. my mate died..” he muttered.

fangs ears drooped. “oh. claw right?”

berries nodded. fangs sat next to him. there pelts were almost touching. “yea… we were close.” she said. “we were best friends since kithood.” she shifted her paws nervosly when berries looked offended. “oh! sorry i.. i.. uh. just so u know we were never together. ive only had one crush my whole life.” she shifted back into her original position. “yeah.. life sucks. :/“

berries nodded.

fangs flicked her ear. “just so u know im here for u if u ever wanna talk.” then she left.

berries watched her leave and his heart sank. he was alone again. :(

fast foward 1 week later. berries was alone and sad. he was in denial. he decided to stay with him family for a few days. they tried to take care of him but his heart was empty.. some thing was missing. one day his brothers g*rlfriend, azul, took him for a walk. berries didnt really want to go but azul is a good therapist and listener so he went with her.

“so how have u been feeling lately.” said azul

berries sighed. “i just wish.. i couldve.. saved…. … him.” he looked at her with detrimation. “i wont let any one die ever again. i will keep every one i know safe.”

she closed her eyes. “berries.. i admire ur enthusism..” she looked at him with a tired expression. “but thats not a healthy way to think. at all.” she paused. “everyone dies eventually and u have no control of that. im sorry about claw. i really am. but u have to let him go. i believe the only way to heal ur broken heart is to get with someone else to mend it for u. theres no way u can fix it on ur own and i know u know that.” she glanced in the other direction tears forming. “trust me i know. i know how it feels to lose a loved one all of a sudden. its not fun at all. but u cant keep holding on to him. hes gone and u cant change that. no one can. u have to move on. he… claw.. wouldve wanted that. claw wouldve wanted u to move on and be happy. he wouldve wanted u to find a new g!rl/b0yfriend.”

“but thats ch3ating!! i cant..” berries burst out into tears. “i.. i.. cant… :(“

azul looked at him. “look, i used to know claw. i remember he would talk about u to me. he loved u very much. and i know it i just know it he would want u to find someone else for u to be happy again. he wouldnt want u to grieve ur whole life just bc u couldnt let go of him.” she sighed. “but nows the time to let go.”

The Red Jerboa Part 15

Jerboe made tintoberry pancakes for breakfast, which was Jebris’ favourite food, after eating, she left the den and foraged for some berries. When she came back there was nothing left. She could smell rotting carcasses under her. The ground started shaking and a death worm with a red glow around it dragged Jebris into the sand...

She woke up. Both James and the survivor were asleep, she couldn’t feel her legs. The survivor woke up and smiled at Jebris. He then got up and gave her some tintoberries and some water. James woke up and also smiled at Jebris, the survivor said he was going to meet an old friend of his that he hasn’t seen in years. He started packing and then said. “I saw what you were trying to do, follow me.” Jebris and James followed, they were sucked into a machine that transported them to the simulation. “We need to get Silver back.” Jebris said with determination. “But where are we, this isn’t the volcano.” James explained “This is the ocean, I don’t like it here” just then 2 survivors entered the area. One of them was a young girl and the other was an adult man. The young girl shouted. “Oh my gosh!!! Jerboas!!! I want them both!!!”

Jebris and James didn’t want to be taken, they just wanted to find Silver and then leave. They jumped into the ocean. “ Get those Jerboas for me!!! NOW!!!!!!!!”

The adult threw a silver coloured Ferox out of a cryopod and gave it some element. Then he jumped into the water and chased them. Jebris looked back and then stopped swimming that ferox was Silver! But it seemed she didn’t recognise her. Silver was about to grab Jebris when James pulled her back and pulled her deeper. He knew Feroxes weren’t very good at swimming as they couldn’t hold their breath for very long. He was right Silver swam back up for air and James and Jebris swam to safety. They found a cave that went upwards and they managed to hold their breath for long enough to make it to the top where they could get air. They decided to start exploring but the cave went deeper which meant they had to hold their breath again.

Swampling tales

Chapter three

Gizmo was terrified, the Swamp Badgers had attacked there burrow, slaughtering innocent Swamplings and raiding supplies. As far as she knew, she had to get out. She hopped to her feet and scuttled towards the exit, she climbed up the slope and covered her eyes with her front paws as the sun glared down at her.

“Gizmo? Is that you?” The voice was her mothers, and she ran towards her, snuggling up to her warm fur.

“Yes mother, it is me” she looked around, the only survivors were her mother, Goldenfur (the leader), Bigears, Stripe (gremlins reference), Haskins (another gremlin) and Silver.

“We have to get out of here” Goldenfur announced.

“I agree” said Stripe, who was the pack deputy.

“Burrows are too easy for the Swamp Badgers to raid, we need something stronger, and we need to find somewhere with more food” Haskins suggested.

“I agree with the first part” Silver said, “but you only said the second one because you’re obsessed with food, you never stop eating!”

“That’s a lie!”

“Enough bickering!!” Stripe roared, “we need to leave, otherwise we’ll all be dead soon” Gizmo thought about what life would be like now, but she would soon know, as they set off to find a new home...

Swampling tales

Chapter two

Gizmo rushed around the burrow, other swamplings stepping out of the way as she sniffed every corner, and then saw something... a slope, leading up out of the burrow into the outside world.

“Wow” Gizmo whispered.

“The outside world, you can’t go out there yet” her mother said, walking up to her.

“Why not?”

“It’s too dangerous”

“Oh”

“Now come along Gizmo, back to our nest”

“Ok” Gizmo followed her mother back to the nest and lay down in the moss. Nobody in the burrow knew about the Swamp Badgers patrolling outside th3 burrow, waiting for the right moment to begin the raid...

The Manticore entered Rockwell’s garden and found a scale-covered lion. It growled at him and turned invisible, the Manticore watched its footsteps and then pounced, the lion tried to fight back but it fell to the floor.

Now back to Jebris

She woke up… in a house? She looked around the man that had tamed Silver was stood in front of her. He gave her some fresh tintoberries and then he threw Silver out of a cryopod she was currently only slightly shorter than Jebris, “Silver,” said Jebris. Silver looked up at her, confused “Who’s Silver?” She asked, Jebris then proceeded to also look confused. “What? But… you look exactly like her.” Silver looked at her, “Wait. What was your name?” She asked, Jebris looked at her “I’m Jebris”

Gotta end it, low battery.

Tales From the Arks Season 3 Chapter 1

The jerboas instantly recognized each other and they began to fill each other in about what happened.

Shadow:so after radars 500th stupid idea we killed the Titans via a heck of a lot of explosives. Oh, I should ask, do you still have the case I gave you?

Thunder:Yeah, I have it right here

Thunder begins to open the case before...

Shadow: STOP!

Thunder instantly jumps back as shadow yells and closes the case

Thunder:Why? what’s wrong?

Shadow: We have to build suspense, we can’t just reveal it to the readers yet.

Radar: Wait what readers?

Shadow: Not important. Moving on. It’ll be very important later, protect it with your life... actually use a life with no value like radar.

Radar:Why do you always pick on me? I have feelings too you know. It’s important to respect everyone as everything finds its way back to you. That is why you shouldn-

Shadow: yeah yeah yeah blah blah blah, nobody cares, there are no consequences to our actions.

Radar: DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF?!

Shadow: Not over your idiocy.

Radar: I SWEAR I WI-

Shadow: get us killed again? Yeah, your really good at that.

Scar: can everyone shut up?

Shadow: radar can’t. Anyways did you guys manage to kill rockwell?

Scar: nope

Thunder: we used an obelisk to escape

Shadow: wonderful. Enough bickering can we start making progress towards what we are trying to do?

Radar: that’s what I was trying t-

Shadow: ok nobody cares let’s go

The Red Jerboa Part 7

The water stopped flowing Jerboe was drowning her vision darkened and then a bright light flashed into her eyes. She shut them waited a few seconds and then opened them again the light was dimmer “you are going to die you need to escape NOW!” Said a voice that sounded a lot like Jebris’ Jerboe scrambled up to the top and took a massive breath of fresh air. The Manticore was listening to music, she climbed out of the water. Half of her body(the bottom half) was purple and black there were some normal spots there as well “What happened?” Asked Jerboe the Manticore swooped down grabbed her and stuffed her into the water.

Jebris jumped into the water to cool off but the currant dragged her to a waterfall she fell down it. Silver jumps down and immediately regrets it “That was terrifying...” Said Silver everything here was pink there was a yellow glow in the distance whatever it was it looked big and down underneath them they saw a massive, purple, bubbling river a weird creature the size of three jerboas stood on top of each other climbed out of the water three reaper queens were fighting the reaper queen that Jebris and Silver escaped from was behind them the reaper queen kicked Silver into the poisonous water “SILVER!” Shouted Jebris. Silver reached for Jebris’ hand but she was to high up “Goodbye Jebris...” said Silver quietly with tears running down her face “NOOOOOOO!” Shouted Jebris she tried to hold in her tears but failed and tears ran down her face as well. Silver landed in the water with a splash she clambered out of the water as a mutant jerboa and started climbing up the rocks into the pink zone. “Time to end this...” said Jebris the reaper queen slammed her tail down Jebris slid to the right, grabbed a rock and chucked it at the reaper queen Jebris heard a snap, it was the reaper queen’s leg snapping in half. It fell to the ground layed their and cried. Silver finished climbing the wall and charged at Jebris so Jebris slid to the right and silver fell back into the water. She came out even more mutated but then the giant hand came back and pulled Jebris into a tek city. Around it there was wasteland the hand waved and then left Jebris waved back. She went exploring in the wasteland when a meteor shower started She ran for shelter and hid.

The Red Jerboa Part 17

Jebris woke up in the burrow that James had created, she looked down at her missing leg.

“Hey James, I can’t get out of the burrow. It’s too steep!” James pulled her out. “I made a machine that would transport us to the different areas of the simulation” he said proudly. They travelled to the bog and saw 4 raptors a sarco and 2 baryonyx, they immediately teleported away to the arctic biome and found a nice place to make a burrow. After creating it, an avalanche formed and destroyed everything. James managed to get away and then he grabbed Jebris to pull her out of the way. They dug a burrow under a tree and stayed there for a bit.

Meanwhile at the Manticore’s lair

“Jerboe, We need to find those Jerboas, they should be in the genesis simulation.” Jerboe walked towards the simulation portal and entered the arctic biome...
