- The Nazgûl

The days went on. Jennifer continued to advance in the medical arts. Alex had begun to advance in combat. Many marveled at her skill at such a young age. However, some still made fun of her. One day, as Jennifer was packing her supplies, she heard yelling coming from the center of camp. She went to investigate. The entire camp had formed a circle. In the center, two soldiers were fighting. Jennifer recognized one. It was Alex. Finally, Spark came out.

“What is the reason for this? Someone in the crowd, tell me what happened.” He said.

“The boy came up to her and said that she was to small and weak to fight, so she fought back.” Someone in the crowd said.

“Is this what happened?” Spark asked the boy. He slowly nodded his head.

“Let me make this clear,” Spark began. “There is to be no fighting or teasing in this camp. You have all come a long way since we began. We are leaving tomorrow to the desert. I expect all of you to be ready to march out when I give the word.”

At that, everyone rushed to their tents to begin packing. They were finally going to battle.
