If you’re a real man, you would tame it with berries

When taming use wood gateways and gates as well as a large bear trap to trap the gasbag in the gateways and use honey to lure it in

So A very determed me decided to slingshot a level 20... how hard could it be, right? WRONG. Darn rascal took 25 minutes, 9 slingshots, and like 400 rocks. Beefy bugger also took over FOUR HOURS to tame. Took like 150 mejos and maybe 300 narco berries. Moral of the story, use tranq arrows and aim for the head.

If you don't want them to take fall damage when they run out of gas unride them and wait until they fall down they won't take damage

Follow it with wooden spike traps. Place one in front of it, then quickly place the other two around it, encasing it. Don't worry, the spikes won't hurt it. Then place the wooden pillars next to it, along with a few thatch ceilings above it. Go from there. It won't be able to walk or fly away. Just be careful of surrounding Dino's.

If solo, use an Equus to kick them until they’re knocked out. Remember to kick in moderation or use something to watch its torpor, so it doesn’t lose taking effectiveness.

Don’t punch unconscious it takes awhile and they fly away

Picked Up Gasbag with wyvern standard knockout tame with vegetables most taming effectiveness..mejo is not worth it takes way too much time with any berry type

Um I spent 70 shocking tranquil darts and 50 tranquil darts tryna knock this thing out and it wouldn’t go night night

Lies all lies. 145 with 13 Superior augmented kibble at 2x tame and 1.5 mat only gives < 5% taming. Rockarrots rest of way for hours

Using steak and Berry’s can tame it

Hi this is A.L.N.A with something unusual for me to do a tip on but I really just wanted to say or type if you proffer that these are really good for storage because if you get raided you can put them on passive flee and they will fly away with you loot inside there inventory away from harm the only this that makes this less efficient is that you will need to track down your fleeing gasbag so do note that. So people give these guys more respect would ya. So see you in the next tip and until then enjoy the game :)

A great way to tame these beasts:

1. Use god console get materials to make bow or crossbow.

2. Craft toxic or tranq arrow to tranq the beast.

3. After tranquilized, put food in it's inventory.

4. if torpor drops, use god console again and get bio toxin to increase torpor.

5. Feed and tame the beast with the in it's inventory.

It seems I was able to pick up the gas bag with an argy. I then could pin it down and build a trap around it and the argy for easy tranqing. When inflated they appear to take less tranq damage, like a doedec.

EASY TAME👍🏼

Just ride on you're horse and try to knock it down, if it's trying to run away you have to folow it and knock it down.

They can b bola but still can fart away
