How do I tame a gasbags? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a gasbags.

From my experience u cannot trap these no more when I was trying to tame mine it didnt go in the trap it just turned around when. It was near the dino gates and walked away.

You could tame it with Barry kibble but it only increases by 1.5% on default official rates.

If you are alone it comes after you but if you have friends it runs away so try to solo tame it

Be warned, when trying to tame one with an argument trap(3 gates) it slipped out.

They can destroy large bear traps I figured this out the hard way

Pick it up with a wyvern and get your friend to tranq it. Just be careful because they can take fall damage.

To tame with out a trap, simply freeze it with a snow owl in between tranq shots to stop it from fleeing. This works better with 2 people but it can be done.

If u are trying to tame one the fatter they get the higher lvl

They don't do a lot of damage but are hard to tame because they just fart away

Has anyone tried sap, honey, or veggie cakes for taming the Gasbag? Not sure if this is where to put this, just an idea. Wiki says they're an omnivore but that could be wrong.

When knocking it u need an owl to put them in the trap n just keep freezing it when it tries to inflate so then u can knock it easier bc I tried knocking a lvl 30 n it took like 60 tranqs when it said 7

If you own a skiff, find a gasbag you want with a spy glass of course then when that’s done, bring the gasbag to a safe location and tranq it while picked.
