Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a dunkleosteus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a dunkleosteus.
Took approx 300 spears to knock out a 150 x dunk, used 3 ramshackle harpoon launchers. When tranqing, keep your distance and it won't attack the trap. Which is useful bc they break stone.
Use the squid as it deals torpor damage
1. Don't shoot their head, shoot their butt or body. (This is true, dont trust gamepedia)
2. It wont left deep sea, so u can easily stay out of deep sea border and KO them.
3. Make sure to kill everything else around it before start to K.O it.
Its really easy to tame
To The guy who told he can't see the torpor meter u should not be on a mount then only the torpor meter is visible
Abandon the pursuit. Problem solved!
Take a tuso and one person grab it and other tranq. Easy!
It’s really easy to tame these. All you need is a few tranqs and a bow. They spawn at the bottom of the ocean. Scuba gear is also really helpful. Use a dolphin to tame them. Because they can’t get you on a dolphin. When you have it knocked, Feed it meat or prime. Balm is needed!
You dont need 248 I had 255 and three primitive crossbows and I knocked a 140 with 65 arrows and one crossbow left I did do like 10 punches and I have 160 melee
They are a really easy tame if near the barrier.
Just get a scuba suit and flippers and clear out the area.
Next just shoot it when facing thing the barrier and it will run into it getting stuck.
If it tries to attack you just move to the side they have a very large turning radius
This isn’t a tip but can someone PLEASE tell me where to find these things I have a base on herbi island and I can’t find a single one please let me know thank you so much 😊
If you have god console turn on invincible and go underwater. When taming keep leveling it up and give it bio. It’s works on anything.
Use transponders. Trust me.
Tag one and tag your raft and you will not lose it no matter how far it swims. Use a basilo so squids and jellies dont get you. Take 2 scuba tanks at least and try with high damage xbow and about 200 tranqs. Use raw mutton and drive raft straight on top. Keep either a live sheep or refrigerated mutton or warp to bed from drop or obby with mutton on you. Ez tame. As easy as a giga if you do it this way.
...if you know what you're doing

I've only seen one very deep it was deep I had to go into creative to survive lol
Hey guys just your friendly survivor here. I found a level three dunky near herbivore island and I began to shoot at it with tranq arrows. After twenty shots I looked at it through my spyglass and it did no torpor! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! What a waste of arrows! Can someone pls tell me how to knock this thing out.
Grab extra arrows/bullets to tame these (more than how much dododex shows), because you might need to catch breath and it will take time and might drop its torpor.
If you are playing boosted pump health and weight and you can easily tame a tusothesis
Beware body shots take less than Dododex says, I ko’ed a 125 using 34 less Tranqs than expected so shot it once when unconscious 😑
Here's how to tame in creative 1 tranq it 2 feed it meat (any) 3 kill everything aggro 4 wait for it to tame 5 (tip) cryo it to herbivore isle for safe zone and make sure o kill all meglos near isle in kinda shallow areas like the circle part (best choice for place in water)
(Mobile Player) I once tried to tame one of these , I gave it around 10 toxicant arrows and it still wouldn't go down. I pulled out my spyglass and it didn't have a torpor bar not even one that said 0 out of whatever it's max torpor was.So there 4 explainations to this. 1: It's Glitching Out. 2: I'm Stupid And It's A Passive Tame.3: This Thing Has A Massively Fast Torpor Drain. Or 4: It's Un-Tameable On Mobile. 👆🏽 If This Happened To You
