on 5x taming server, spot a lvl 25 x-dunkleoteus, set up a trap with 24 stone pillar and 9 stone ceiling, spent 10 minutes to lure it into the trap. then pull out my 154% crossbow, sending 100+ tranq arrows....and kill it. yet sacrificing my lvl 133 dolphin to the eels and megalodon😑

This is like the Argy of the sea. It can hold an outstanding amount of weight and can do a lot of damage. Only issue I have with it is the speed and stamina so focus your level ups on those. Also, bring a lot of tranqs since it took me 175 arrows for a level 125 (don’t aim for the head).

Are they worth the tame because I have found one 150 and just want to see if it is worth it

Very hard to get it to chase you, so you’ll have to chase it. An ichthyosaurus is best because it’s fast and you can shoot from the back of it. Though, I would recommend bring a basi for protection from eels, megs, and jellies, just to be safe. The dunky is slow but it can go far.

Also, don’t take your eyes off of it for too long or you’ll never find it again.

Says 113 tranqs for a 55 Dunk but an X-Dunk took about 180...

So I need to take one of was pretty easy it was a x dunk and all I did was go under water with a crossbow and a kap and if you shoot from long range they swim away so I just kept doing that till it was close to shore and I got on a raft and shot 20-30 shocking tranq darts and it was out cold amazing tame btw

If trying to tame one make like a wyvern trap on the bottom on the ocean and hive someone else shut it. I use a sarco to lead it in the trap. On the center you can make the trap right next to the air bubble to escaped in the Airr away from any attack range and have a keypad to shut it. This will allow you to use any tranq attack

Don't look at how many tranqs it will to knock this out if you're taming a x-dunky, x creatures take less torpor so it will take more tranqs

Take 5 metal behe's and two doors to 84.3 47 on Crystal isles look for the charging station. The rest is up to you.

taming a X dunkleosteus is so much harder than taming a normal one. It takes more arrows to knock it down and you will probably kill it before you can knock it down. And yet you have to deal with those stupid eels and megalodons. Be sure set up a trap and bring your friends to deal with those eels and megalodons. Solo tame is ill advised imo. And do not ride basilisaurus when you try to lure it to the trap, for some reason dunkly is afraid of the basil and it will run away from you. A ichthy is a better choice, dunkly will chase you as well as those eels, thats why a friends is needed.

OR just use command "dotame" to save your time and your dolphine.

For a X-version BRING AS MUCH TRANQ THINGS AS POSSIBLE! Make USE A ICHY! I have used a Bary but it was to fast to get so i had to corner it, you could try the huge octo tame for grabbing but i doubt youd get that before a dunkleo but if you do...USE IT. Hope this helps -The NightWart

Can knock out with giant squids

If u have squid just grab amd hild it. It'll apply torpor and ko it without trap or arrows

Patrol your coastlines .. you sometims get them on the beaches and make easy tames, throw 3 gates around them and stand on a wyvern and dart it ... Take plenty of darts if you that lucky.. 4exceptional kibble and the jobs done 242 dunkly with very little work .. happy hunting

The easiest way to tame it is to shoot it from a baryonix. Who the dunkleosteus torpo gets, he flees. All others will be Agro in the area . So that they also run away, use the special attack and everyone in the immediate vicinity runs off.

Found one. Taming with raw fish. For some reason, though, it ran away from me on the first hit.

It took me forever to tranqulaize broke 2 crossbows with toxic tranquilizer but the taming was pretty fast took it 10 seconds to tame.

If you want to tame these, ride an ichty you can draw your crossbow on his back. If you hit the dunkle with tranq, he'll flee. So you need a dino that can draw crossbow on it.

When taming look for their mate or partner because they will attack

Even though everyone says they don’t attack you on mobile that is wrong they do while they are not very dangerous if you have a decent tame you should be just time
