Once you get 2+ dung beetles just go ahead and destroy your compost bins

Use Biggest poop you can find. The bigger the better.

Make a circle of Lystros. Put beetle(s) inside circle. Pet Lystros, feed beetle(s), store fertilizer in Lystro inventory. 300 per Lystro, no cage/fences needed. (Set follow to lowest and whistle one at a time to arrange Lystros.)

An easy area to find the dung beetles is the south cave.

If u cryo a dino and throw it out they will produce feces everytime

If you add unicorn residue in the beetles inventory, it doesn't spoil, but regular poop makes fertilizer and oil.

I'm not sure if anyone has already said this, but on Aberration there are no phiomias. Roll rats can serve the same purpose, be force fed a ton of stim berries to get loads of poop. Just watch the hunger, cuz it drops quick!

Can be found in the dung beatle cave in the red woods located at 25.1 LAT and 93.1 LON. It's just a small little cave full of these little fertilizer machines.

ON lost island u can find them on swamp beaches

For easy fert and oil, get loads of medium poop, set your ding beetle to neutral, only have poop in your inventory, disclaim the beetle then let it kill you, it should gather all the poop in your inventory with no weight restrictions. You can do this to slot cap it so no need to refill it every hour or so and no needed cages. Best way to farm and most time efficient. Can say it works as I use it all the time. Never needed to go oil farming with 7 of these. O P G O D
