If want to tame one easily

Fist tame a good level argy

Search wolf, they will be in pack

Make trap( 4 stone foundation and 8 stone gate or 7 wall + 1 gate) safe distance from the wolves pack..

Pick whichever wolf you want to tame, by your argy..

And put that wolf in the trap...

After that universal process knock by dart or tranq arrow.. and feed(prime meat or meat)...

Here the key is your "Argentavis"

Uninteresting hints That May Be Helpful - So, just for those who are unaware, you find these massive doggos in the tundra area (snow place). Usually, you find ‘em in packs. Once I found a lone one though. If I had been playing on a server, I would have made a pun, you know, lone wolf. Quick hint for when that happens, DO NOT run forward and try punching it, you’ll usually find at least five baddies around it. Anywho, the pack situation, for the newer players, THE YELLOW ONE ISN’T TAMEABLE. I learned that the hard way 😞. Died at least 7 times. Another thing, these guys do team with raptors, sabres, the weird flying ant thing that calls itself a titan, titanoboas, rexes, Megalodon and so on. I actually had that entire list plus seven on my back once, believe me it was not fun.

Heres How to tame when they have the chance of the arrival

Bola them or use a carbonemys tô tank It while you tranq, If a karkinos can be used, use It for trapping and taming, If you need to escapes karks have a jump

In Scorched earth these things usually travel alone, pick them up with an Argentavis (In the mountains) and bring it to a medium pen you made. Use a crossbow (I have a Mastercraft one) with some tranq arrows, I brought 50, and just knock them out. It tries to run, so just hit the tail. Once it is knocked out, I fed it raw meat, but I recommend to use the preferred kibble, I was just beginning in there, though.

If you play on mobile, kill two or more in the yeti cave and then revive, breed, and imprint(better if you get one male and a few more females) and before you even noticed it, you'll have an unstoppable wolf pack that can shred everything except a titanosoaur( I dont recommend even trying to kill a titanosaur with wolves)

They are honestly the cutest rideable creature ever, they are even more cute when you see them level up

A pack of 3 tamed dire wolves can tank parasaurs,raptors,trikes,stegos,sarcos and even therizino’s and could take down a diplo in like 20 seconds.

What happens if you hear them howl ALL the time I've been playing for 28 days..?

The best way to tame these are to build a stone trap ( 6 foundation’s or more and doorframes ), use an argument or anything that can pick it up, and drop it in the pen. Then knock ur out with whatever you have. Enjoy ur direwolf!!!

Ps: they are very strong in pack so I would recommend taming more than one and with both genders so you get the mate boost

Step two: watch it get eaten by a rex.

Tame one as fast as you can one of the best starter mounts and no saddle needed

Build a taming pen with doorframes and a ramp where the beach meets the snow. Make sure you have a tanky argy because they can now bite when picked up. Drop it in the pen for an easy tame.

You see one and aren’t going to tame it and you won’t be able to kill it run I had just spawned in and got killed by direwolves On crystal isles

Here’s some tips: bring bolas, a bow, tranq arrows, and make a trap and give prime meat or normal meat. I don’t know but you might need some narcos
