If you ever trying to tame this on your very early game ....

Don't use slingshot !!

You just gonna wasting your time if you use slingshot, coz it won't work to knock them down!!

You need atleast a tranq arrow to knock them.

go in cave where is artifact of strong there are highest levels

Steps on how to tame a direwolf;

There are very many different ways to do this

So I’ll tell you one easy way!

1. Get a decent lvl argy with about 5000 life

Build four stone foundations with stone door frames around 16

2. Find a dire wolf pick it up with the argy and drop it in the trap be carful about the life though

3. Use around 40 tranq arrow and a primitive crossbow, you won’t use all the tranq arrows

4. They eat meat so either mutton/prime or kibble.

Narcotics will keep it unconscious. -Boycicle

Try not to tame these things near Rexes if you waste time and food on this animal and have it get killed by a pack of rexes, (clicks tongue) good luck getting out there alive 😑

You need to get hide armor beacuse it's cold where they live, have bolas and/or tranq arrows. Knock them out and you'll be fine.

Apparently direwolves aren't a common tame amongst higher level tribes so they're uber good for trading- also essential for early game! Suck it up and go into the arctic for an hour you'll live! Probably!

To the guy who advises people to tame lvl 590 direwolfs on the "level 300 mode" to "get 294 additional levels FOR FREE", yeah good luck having a lvl 600 direwolf that cant be leveled, or have offspring that have a leveling advantage, since the max level on mobile is literally 600. literally more practical to find a level 400 direwolf or lower, and then punch the direwolf to lower its taming effectiveness to get the direwolf to level 550 or lower and an opportunity to level up at least 50 levels before reaching max level

bros the type of guy to think that if you revive a lvl 750 direwolf on brutal mode you can tame it and get a lvl 1000 direwolf (literally turns into a lvl 1 direwolf when revived)

so yeah moral of this tip is to test your stuff before posting it in public

It’s easy to tame one

Just get a high level with a argy and put them in a stone trap.

You’ll need some prime or kibble and Narcotics for high levels.

Do be wary of Predators that come to attack.

Tame a bunch then go fight sparkly vampires.

Got to snow cave (hardest cave)

Lure them into the water

Stand where they can no reach you

Kill them and get their implant

Go to artifact

Revive

Knockout

Feed

One of your strongest dino is in your team now!

I have tried to tame one forever, big tip get to high ground and kill the ones you don’t want and bola and frank the one/s you want! Just remember to bring raw meat or prime meat.

(official servers too) If you are gonna tame one, go to Ragnarok, they spawn at very high levels there, get 2 a male and female in 1 run then u should be fine, I got lvl 130 fem and 150 male, now I'm with my first baby wolf at lvl 206.

If you tame an Eerie Direwolf on mobile, their stats are already ridiculous from their original habitat. Health, admittedly, could be better. These things are BEASTS. Level their health to 10k (or mutate it to 10k, ur choice) and add a little melee and speed, you’ll be wrecking ANY alpha you come across, and with 25k or 30k health, you’ll be taking down GIGAS, with a pack, of course. -BrokenWolves

Pro tip:tame a ridiculously high level dire wolf in the ice cave

Don’t need a saddle for them after there tamed there just ridable

If you get a male and a female you can breed and have a pack of dire wolves. I put a Dawson in my pack so it could heal my wolves in a bad situation.

I breed direwolves and use them for running the artifact caves. A fully imprinted wolf can be significantly better than most dinos that would fit in one of those caves, even with no armor.

Best way to tame these is get it away from its pack (pref go for Alpha) when alone bola it and use slingshot(it may die) or tranqs(i used tranqs) or club(you could die or get it killed) or darts(never tried) some may end in death but anyways. When tranqed, make sure NOTHING is in the area in a 10 ft radius. Starve it for a minute or two (pretty sure it doesn’t require much narcotics.) make sure to get a good taming effect. When tamed put it somewhere safe until you request it (unless u have rg)

1. If you want a high level wolf kill the rest of the low level ones with a argy because you can pick up the pack and leave the high level without hurting it. Beware of yuty's and carnos and daedons.

2. You can bola it and knock it out with a club or tranq arrows, and darts. Feed narcotics to keep asleep, give it mutton and prime meat to tame faster.

3. Have a nice day with your new direwolf.

Step one: grab it with your argentavis or Quetzal.

Step two: bring it back to your taming den

Step three: shoot it from the outside

There you go. it is ready for tame.

If you are not 62, there are bolas, but it is risky since they travel in pack
