To all the people saying the dinopithecus sucks, or this isn’t a dinosaur blah blah blah..kick rocks. One this isn’t 2017, we have a whole Arsenal of dinos that aren’t dinos, too include dragons and space whales, even baby stealing platapus, so get dumped on. Two, the same old same old two legged reptiles and 4 legged mammals were getting old. People grew tired of using the same whole rexs for bosses and thaylas for caves. This is a breath of fresh air, and it’s a modest one at that. HP and Damage is on par with thyla/shadowmane, but with interesting twists such as helmets instead of saddle(more armor but degrades) and can throw poop and grenades. I tamed my first 145 yesterday and I’ve been completely happy with it in these early days of the new dlc!

Makes caves easy nothing aggros to it so you can just walk to the artifact.

It's ability to climb also makes it good

Fits in most on lost island.

May need a cryo-pod for tight spaces

Important note!

This guy can't use guns but canuse grenades

it can throw poop like the mesopitheicus but the poop can damage tek.

Careful with its explosive diarrhoea

Nearly the same base stats as the Shadowmane but more melee.

When in a pack the bleed is applied after you do the battle cry and the mate and pack boost stack, you can imagine the damage. Melee scales very well. The poop slows and drains, making this a very good high damage hit and run animal. The only thing holding it back would be the lack of a saddle but that’s easily remedied with a helmet. If you’re going to using the throwables, throw poop first to slow and then a grenade for efficiency. Could be very good in pvp with a pack and the bleed could potentially shred through high armor targets.

They can throw grenades and they can throw poop that disables tek which I think will be a little broken for pvp and they are big stronk

The dodo Dex WONT SAY but they ARE able to be ridden once tamed on ps4 and maybe others I just tested on ps so idk but I put off taming these because I thought they can’t be ridden and idk about u but me favorite thing in ark is riding cool dinosaur but they can! And they can also wear HATS!!!!!

……oh hey! You still here? If so I bet you love monkey just like me so let me tell you all I know about these furry animals:

1: they can climb any wall, tree, cliff, rock, almost anything and you won’t ever notice your stam because if any I don’t think they do but if it does take stam it’s such a little amount

2: they wear hats. The world must know.

3: they throw poop that dramatically slows the Dino you hit with it and can throw grenades that stick to anything including Dino’s!

4: they DO NOT NEED SADDLES TO RIDE!! :3
