What are tips for dimetrodon? Tips and strategies for dimetrodon in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Need way more narcotic if no boosted server...more than dododex says!
The higher the level, the more torpor. Fill up torpor by 1,000s. For example a level 150 has about 7,400 torpor. Wait till it drops to 1,000 then pump 6,000 worth of torpor(150 narcotics). That’ll give you about a 20 minute window to do what you need to do till it gets up to 7,000 and drop again. Rinse and repeat. If you KO a low level it won’t even have 2,000 torpor so it’s about 5 minutes for the torpor to rise before you have to pump more in. Have tribe mate bring mutton. Or kite it to your base with a fridge/preserving bin full of mutton and KO in there ;)
If you have time, high level is worth it. They’ll have more health and food so they’ll survive starvation, “accidents”, friendly fire, etc. better than a low level would. Plus, easier to raise :D
You should check your surroundings for kapros and titanoboas before trying to tame.
Dimetrodon kibble is one of the required kibbles for imprinting. However, it can be difficult to see when they lay eggs, as they will be on top of the eggs. To fix this, build a pen and put them all inside. Then, put them all on wander. If you have a male, you can leave him stationary, or neuter him and put him on wander.
Since the nerf of Dimetrodons spawn rates on the center, they were much harder to find, but when looking in the swamps don't look in the water, look on the land patches, I found one there!
Fire tranq darts or arrows as fast as you can, or they'll shake off torpor and you'll end up killing them instead.
These things are wildly slow. Just walk away from it while shooting tranqs and it will never catch up. Bring meat/fish meat or prime meat and a lot of narcotics or narcoberries.Torpor drains really fast so you need to keep an eye on them.
Pfff I wound one lure it by honey and when I almost knocked out it disappear 🙄😒
So I have Been living on the left beach by the volcano and I want a but then I get there and there’s a bunt hit of these guys all over the place by the bottom left part of the swamp by the rebwoods but take an argey because there annoying to tame
These guys’ Torpor drops like SONIC SPEED, so just kill jellyfish with your Mastercraft Sword and shove meat up its you-know-what
This thing doesn't make any sense. First you need a god dark quetzal to carry these motheryeeter. I mean cant you see how how small are these reptilehole? Probally a tapejara could carry these dipstick.
If you are struggling with hatching an egg (wyvern, rock drake or any dino egg) Dimetrodons are the way to go. Tame up about one or two and level up their attack and place the egg next to them, put your tames on passive becuase it could attack the baby. Dimetrodons can be found near swamps and some rivers to. They are hard to tame because their torpor drops low pretty fast, so good luck✨
Hey to the person who said to all the dino nerds out there the glider dino in the redwoods is the first link to dinos and birds
Tame he from mutton NOT TAME FROM KIBLE to tame her from kible your need Tame quetzal and 30 prime jerky
seriously? From HER!
Bruh, I’m on mobile and every time that I try to do the tame gallimimus pursuit, I can never find a dimetridon. I look in swamps and in the redwoods and after hours of searching I have found zero, can y’all help me please?
This dude could be easily left, by whoever not interested in breeding, specialy as they're litterally a pain in the a.. to tame.
However, as soon as you get any interest about breeding, you'd find that incubate eggs are so much more annoying, so this big lizard became a definite must have
