It is basically a portable AC unit, the more melee damage you put into it, the better it is at being an AC.

Can be used as air conditioners when trying to incubate eggs. For larger eggs you will need more dimetrodons

I think the devs should add the feature that food in a Dimetrodon‘s inventory lasts twice as long as in other dinosaurs inventory, e.g. raw prime meat cause they act as an AC

If you put it on aggressive with Kairuku set to breeding, it will eat the babies and store the polymer in its inventory. Easy organic poly farm!

I have NEVER used an air conditioner to incubate ANY eggs (even wyvern eggs) I only use four of these guys with every point into melee damage and they do the job 👍🏽

Can wild card please start including special abilities in the info panel I'm tired of going to tips to go find out if dino has some special quirk idk about yet being an incubator and an ac is important INFO ya think?

I literally don’t understand: their eggs(at least on mobile) are as heavy and nutritious as a Rex or quetzal egg… and you can’t pick them up with an argy. They’re literally so small😭

If you’re like me and don’t feel like collecting resources for an AC, then just try and tame these

A lot of people say that ACs are way better than dimetrodons, but really if you level its melee damage up a ton they are way better than any AC.

The first one I tried to tame I killed on accident so try and do this:

-Use a crossbow and tranq arrows

-have a lot of narcotics or bio toxins (preferably bio toxins because they raise torpidity by 80, and no it doesn’t harm them)

-repeatedly shoot it in the head WATCH THE HEALTH

-I used prime meat. Around 4-5 pieces of it. Don’t use regular meat it’s not worth it (kibble would be the best though)

My dimetrodon was level 19 and it went down rather quickly

I’d rather tame one of these than craft a ton of air conditioners because they are actually interesting unlike air conditioners.

Bruh I kept finding females only and after the 10th female I finally found a male💀 I was starting to think that there’s only females on mobile bruh, anyways these dinos are really useful if your level 60 or below( except those who found the air conditioner blue print in a drop) because these Dino can be used as a portable air conditioner, and you don’t unlock the air conditioner blue print until level 61 and obviously you’re already going to be breeding some Dino before that. Dimetrodon are in the swamp so they may be a little hard to obtain, dimetrodon aren’t rare but like hard to spot due to the shadows of trees and swamp floating grass or whatever in the water so you know makes it a bit hard too. On mobile these Dino prefer quetzal kibble and their torpor drops EXTREMELY fast so make sure to bring lots of bio toxins/narcotics and bring kibble to make the taming better, also make sure to tame a high level one for higher melee stat because for every 100% of melee is equal to a single air conditioner, for example if my dimetrodon has a melee of 300% it is equivalent to 3 air conditioners. Which is also another reason why you may want to chose a dimetrodon even after having the air conditioner blue print because dimetrodon saves you a ton of resources AND space especially when your done with breeding your dinos you can just unclaimed them and you didn’t waste much time on building all those air conditioner and wasting more time on destroying them. So tame a dimetrodon to make hatching eggs a lot easier👍🏽 -V

If you get one of these to ~1000 melee then you can incubate wyverns with 1

4 if them in a room is enough to incubate a quetzal egg
