What are some stories about the dilophosaur? Memorable dilophosaur stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
The dirty water would sometimes infect the inexperienced who drank it, but the parents would prevent them for the most part.
However, this juvenile dilo lost its parents at such a young age, and knew none about the dangers of the water. One day it got thirsty, and so it drank. It wasn't satisfied though, in fact, it got thirstier. So it kept drinking.
Soon the poor juvi was dehydrated and desperate, and it didn't help that it started to burn up.
The dilo eventually seized up and just fell down, shaking as if it were having a seizure. Usually, predators would take huge advantage of ill prey, buy they know this poor dilo had drank the ARK swampland's contaminated waters, and there were safer ways to get food.
The dilo shook and shook until it began to sneeze uncontrollably and vomit blood, and soon it became too weak to do anything.
A survivor noticed the poor thing on an equus and dragged it to their base, using a lasso
He fed the dilo some medicine, but it was still too weak.
He washed it, gave it ice, massaged it, any treatment he could think of, but the juvenile showed no signs of improvement.
However, the man had faith. He was determined and still kept trying to help the poor juvenile. After a week, it finally began to walk again, eat again and drink again, and he gave the dilo healthy water to quench its thirst.
2 weeks and it could move normally, but still had random seizures. It also happened that one morning, while the man had breakfast, the dilo was walking around and into the wall. It bumped its head twice before turning into the next and walking out the room. The poor thing was blind.
It also couldn't smell properly as when smoke had filled the building, the dilo still kept walking around with no sense of panic whatsoever, continuing to bump into walls. The survivor tried to help it the best he could using all the remedies he knew of, but the damage was irreparable.
He realized that he couldn't release the dilo, as it can't even seem to smell food and had problems with breathing whereas he would have to give it an air tube every now and then.
He figured since he would have to keep it, he'd name it Splitter, and they've been friends ever since. Despite the dilo's troubles, they loved each other to the bottom of their hearts, all the way to the end.
By the time it reached adolescence, Splitter had passed away due to lung problems. Her friend made a gravestone and put flowers on it as a tribute. He considered reviving Splitter, but he knew it was best that it would be put to rest.
I used to have a dilo army. Whenever a raptor or something comes at me my dilos sic them in 0.1 seconds.
I don’t understand why people hate them.
Just make a dilo army then all ur problems are solved. :3
But each of them died after a bronto attack.
UP FOR RESPECTANCE FOR DILOS

When you have rexes, carnos and this type of dinos, have also an army of 10 or more of these and they will help defeating most of enemies, but the army isn't recomended for caves, redwoods or too dangerous missions. Lost mine fighting 2 theris and an alpha raptor, all my 20 dinos died, but my rex named dog killed the theris and the raptor. 1 up= 1 f for my dinos
Great early game tames. If you do choose this for your first tame, get more than one. I don’t know a better early game tame maybe besides a moschops or a parasaur.
I once had one, he killed a sarco on his own. I called him Sharpshooter afterwards because he was just built different. He did have help from me but still. He deserved it. Found sarco skin in his inventory afterwards and let him keep it. I suggest letting the tame that made the final blow or died in the fight keep the trophy, it’s just nice.
So my first dilo was a girl named Spitfire I loved her so
much then she was tried to protect me then died so I thought….. then a while later something came and attacked my house so I looked at my tames and realized Spitfire was alive I was so happy then with my other pets and her of course she went into the water and died of a jellyfish I didn’t even get her back for a day 😭😭😭
I Had 5 dilophosaurs and i had went on a journey with all of them around the map, but i Had to stop and check a beavers nest and get wood for torches. And i look all around to make sure nothing was around, but when i took 1 peice of wood 1 PEICE OF WOOD 2 beavers came out and kill all my level 50 dilos and me. So now everytime i saw a beaver nest i burn it down with anger and kill the beavers. Warning: Dont mess with the beavers at ALL!
Dilly the day-saver
There once was a young lad that saw a dilophosaur.
The lad was lonely and sad because a frickin sarco came to his base and murdered his flock of 27 dodos so he decided to take the dilo.
He knocked him out in a couple shots with tranq arrows then fed him until he became his.
The lad named the dilo Dilly.
Dilly and the lad had many fun, scary, and sad adventures together.
One day on an adventure, the lad ran into a lot of compys and a bunch of dilos.
Dilly killed them all while only taking 28 points damage to his health.
The lad was thankful that he had Dilly on his side.
They ran off towards sea and found a level 6 triceratops minding her own business.
The lad forgot to calm Dilly down before going towards sea and Dilly attacked the triceratops.
The lad was scared that Dilly wouldn't make it because he was getting flung everywhere by the triceratops.
The lad squeezed his eyes closed and when he opened them, he saw the triceratops laying on its side and Dilly having a feast.
The lad laughed for a while and when Dilly finished, he decided it was time to go home.
They had to cross over streams to get back home and while the lad was checking for piranhas, a sarco walked up and tried making the lad his lunch.
The lad was defenseless after his spears broke so he started running.
The lad realized dilly wasn't beside him, but was attacking the sarco.
The lad was scared that Dilly would get eaten but he couldn't stop running.
The lad ran out of breath and ran right into a dead end.
The man sat there getting ready to accept his fate.
The sarco was getting closer and closer.
The sarco had come about 5 feet from the lad.
The lad tensed up preparing to get eaten and squeezed his eyes closed.
He waited for about 6 seconds and when he opened his eyes, he saw the sarco lying dead about 3 feet away from him and Dilly by his side.
This was a true story. I am very thankful for Dilly and I recommend you name your dilo Dilly too so you can go on adventures with it.
Dielo, the bravest dilo
I had just tamed a dilo and was going back to base on my parasaur and some pegocrapsaxes(pegomasax) attacked I couldn’t fight back an my dilo fought them off. I attacked them whit my parasaur and accidentally hit a turtle my dilo killed it and another attacked. After my dilo won the small battle I renamed my dilo to Dielo, the bravest dilo.
Rip. Fluff
I was a lvl 10, and I had a lvl 8 dilo named Fluffy. I was walking around during the night, trying not to be attacked. A Theri came and attacked me, and I was fighting back along with Fluffy. I climbed on a rock where the theri couldn't get me, but I can get him.
He eventually aggros on Fluffy, and he fought until his last breath. He died, and I fell off the rock, and got killed by the theri. I swear I will kill every last theri until I beat Ark.
