Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a dilophosaur? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a dilophosaur.
Here is Ee’s starter guide to taming a dilophosaur! (Yes, I named my character Ee. I couldn’t think of anything at the time.)
Step 1: Locate a dilophosaur. They can usually be found patrolling beaches and green areas, hunting down parasaurs and such.
Step 2: Knock it out. Pickaxes and hatchets work fine, and slingshots can be good if you want to lower the risk of being attacked.
Step 3: Give it food. Prime meat is recommended, but raw meat works too.
And that’s how you get your very own dilophosaur! It will spit venom at enemies, blinding them for a moment. It’s a great combat game for starters!
How to tame a dilo :D
1.kill some dilos, dodos or compy so that you can collect meat.
2.Craft a slingshot, wooden club or you can beat it with fist (If your trying to knock it with fists choose a low level one; if with slingshot collect a amount of stones first also remember wooden club breaks fast so craft and keep atleast 3 more wooden club for backup)
3.Find a dilo
4.after it's unconscious open its inventory by going near to it and tap and hold. After you need to put some meat which we collected at first
5. Wait.....if your dilo eats all the meat but still not tamed put some more meat to its inventory and wait......
6. Finally you tamed your dilo 😆
Name suggestion - toxic dino
Pretty easy to tame them. Just knock em out with a bola or a slingshot and put raw meat in inventory and you got yourself a poisonous reptile to call your own. I am making a guide for every creature so make sure to like this if you found it helpful.
1. Find dilo
2. Hit with club until it got knocked out
3. Pit raw meat in inventory 5-20
4. Enjoy your dilo
Dilos are annoying and basically useless, but here’s a guide to tame them anyway!
1. You will need food for the dilo, easiest is raw meat, however it will take its effectiveness down quite a lot. I recommend using prime because it loses only one level and is easy to get. If you are a perfect tame snob, use kibble or mutton.
2. Fists can be used, however there is a risk of dying, so I recommend a slingshot. Clubs work, but are still risky, because it could bite you. If you can afford tranq arrows, they are quite good. Darts are a waste, just use arrows. No trap is needed because you can outrun them and the can’t kill you if you keep your distance
3. It is a quick tame, that doesn’t need narcs, so it’s usually best to just wait by it. Make sure you have enough food and that it won’t spoil before it tames
Happy taming!
P.S. I am making in depth taming guides for every creature in ark. They all are formatted like this and end in happy taming. If these are helpful, raise them to the top, so it can help more people. Thanks!

How to raise a good dilly
Step 1: use a club or your fist to knock it out
Step 2: are sure you have a good supply on you
Step 3: place the meet in the inventory
Step 4: take your dilly out hunting
Step 5: when leveling up choose between health movement and dmg
I hope this info was helpful for you these steps are the steps I followed during my single player gameplays. I hope your dilly or any tame you have is safe strong and healthy
Best rapper on ark. Spits so much fire, you'll be blind by the time they're done
I at least have it back. Not the moschops
Should start taming these as they are the technically the first dino in the kibble chain.
How2Tame #4: Dilophosaur
Welcome viewers to another episode of How2Tame, where I, Zeta, teach you how to tame creatures. Starring in this episode is the Dilophosaur. I will walk you through it.
1. Execute multiple animals, but not ones that will deal a lot of damage or ones that run away fast, so that leaves Dodos, Pegomastax, and Lystrosaurus. These should be your targets.
2. Do not cook the meat. Instead, spot a Dilophosaurus that you can share this meat with.
3. Please bola the Dilophosaur, so that it cannot scratch you or claw your eyes out. Now strike it with a club repeatedly. Do not, we repeat, do NOT remove this bola!
4. Once it is knocked out, Feed your Dilophosaur meat. If it loses torpor too fast, make sure you have some Narcotic ready because black berries do not work on carnivores.
5. Your Dilophosaur is tamed once the taming bar reaches 100! Name it and remember to feed it daily.
I hope this helped, and keep an eye out for my 5th entry, coming soon! It will be about the not-so-majestic-but-great-anyway Moschops! My previous episodes are listed below. Happy taming!

Soft paw
Tamed 4 in 10 minutes. 5 minutes later killed 3 Titan boas. These are a must have for beginners just tame loads and kill things like Titan boas and get great loot early in game. Must level health though it is terrible. Hope this helps.
Dilos are the best I have 4 dilos and I take them hunting with me. All I have to do is punch a dodo or a passive animal and they attack. I have a blood red one with green spikes that I call savage. I call her that because she is always first to attack and she always collects the loot from the animals. She saved me from 2angry dillos once. TWO! Get urself a dilo they are awsome! I love savage. I think I might change her name but savage is a realy great name for her 👁❤️🦖
When you go to tame one, make sure they aren't in a pack. They may not seem that intimidating, but in a small pack, they are very dangerous.
