How do I breed them??? Ihave put them on "roam" mode and yet they aren't breeding

To tame Dilophosaur

1 attack it until it says unconscious put food in inventory to tame

2 put raw meat raw fish meat cooked meat or cooked fish meat in inventory

3 as you put meat in It's inventory wait until the taming bar reaches 100

These guys are great in packs. I took down 3 adult trikes and only lost 3/7 DILOS I had tamed. Definitely worth the pain to get them!

These things are only good in packs of 3-5 if you’re taking them. But normally are in packs of 2-3

Make sure to stay clear of Dilo’s, espacily if in packs of 3 or more, they spit acid that potions and temporary blinds you. If you are getting attacked by one sprint away, or if killing it sprint to it and jump to avoid acid. Can be easily knocked by fists. Need meat to tame. In pack for 3 or more are very powerful.

Tip: put then an a small tower, encumber them with stone. Set behaviour to aggressive. Now you have a spit torrent.

If it spits at you just use movement on the screen to hit it works for me every time dosen

(This was a while ago) I'm a starter and new to ark and I see this thing. My tribe mate with me (a friend) told me from a research that I should club it. So I did and he fell to ground.he then told me to put it in he's inventory so I did. He tamed up (btw the dilo we tamed was like lvl 110 and my club broke so I took out a slingshot then proceeded.) We had a little starter wood shack (2 by 2) and he told me to put the dilo on the roof and put it on turret mode. So I did.. next day we got raided by a other tribe but my dilo spit at the raiding enemy's and killed em with spit. I told my tribe mate he was smart and then he said he researched it....... bruh.

Its easier to tame it with the sling and don't attack when are more than 2

How to tame a dilo… the hard way.

First: find a wild dilo that you like.

Second: go hunt and get some prime meat.

Third: get a bonker weapon.

Fourth: bonk that same dilo to sleep.

Five: feed it the Prime meat.

Sixth: protect it at all costs.

Seventh: once woken, give it a cool name.

Final: bond with it

Well dilos is very annoying!!! But it's rlly easy to tame them! So let's start!

Step 1: attack the dilo but be careful! They attack op very good,

Step 2: when it's sleeping, give it some food, like raw meat!

And boom! You have a dilo! Have a good luck!

Try to make a dilo a

pack with it. You should craft a spear to help you take it down faster. Keep it away from water, and make sure your enemies don't run into water, because if the dilo does run into water, a fish could attack it, and trigger the dilo to fight back, until its all the way into the water and you can't save it. They are annoying as heck at first, but they are helpful if you tame em. Then use em to get bigger dinos, and so on. Also, try giving them names.

If you are going to fight one stay close so it can't spit in your face.

This dino plus a dodo is an amazing escape plan. The dodo hits it and takes hits while the dilo uses it's spit to blind and slow the aggresser.

I have about ten of them. So far i’ve killed 23 triceratops, and none of them died. They are really good for beginners.
