How to Dodge their Spits : walk like a Crab(Sideways) and when it almost Spits go to the Opposite direction

You can't ride them, you can't use ANY acccessories on them, they can't carry much, and they don't deal much damage. I wish ark could give them a meatpack or something, like how dodos have decimation bit and gathering bit.

These Dino’s are usually the most easy carnivores to defeat and/or tame due to their size, and health.

All u have to do is just punch it and starve tame it also get about 25 of thim there as good as rapters in a pack

You can easily escape the poison spit by jumping to the side.

How to tame:

1. Get a Bola

2. Yeet at dilo

3. Bonk with wooden club

4. Put some meat in inventory

5. Enjoy your bff

I hate these S O B's thwy always want to kill you or your favorite dodo, once I was taming an iguanadon and 3 of these sucker's first went after me, then like idiot they all went after thumbs the iguanadon:( RIP for thumbs the iguanadon.

They make a distinct aggro sound when they lock onto you, keep this in mind when one is nearby. They are easily outrun and with very little practice you can avoid their arcing acid attack. Spears/arrows to he head are very effective

Dilo,s are great for collecting Meat and leather. And ofcourse they when in pack of 8 or more can join you as securitydetail while harvest wood e.c.t. and in pack of 12 they take down bigger animals as well. Butt dont let them attack a theri than they are dead

If you are new to ARK then you should kill dodos for meat and although it will be hard for new players find some of these guys and knock them out feed them the meat from the dodos then tame them and use them while hunting cause there good for killing smaller creatures.

How to build A Dilophosaur Spit turret/ Sentinel Tower

What you will need: Rocks/ heavy surplus material, meat, Wooden structures or higher, Wood ramp, wood ladder, one dilophosaur

1. Put down a foundation for your tower

OR

Begin building on a completed structure

2. Set up your first floor and build the walls and roof of the second(you will want a second foundation for the first option)

3. Set up your ladders

4. Place down your ramp

5. Set your dilo to its lowest following range and set it to follow you

6. Lead it up onto the second floor

7. Destroy and replace the ramp to the tower

8. Lead the dilo onto the tower

9. Tell the dilo to stop

10. Put the heavy material into its inventory with a mixture of meat to keep its health up

11. Change its behavior to agressive to medium/high range

You now have a tower that can spit poison or alert you of creatures getting close. If you have guard creatures, like pachyderms or some reptiles, they will be alerted and eliminate the threat.

Want to make your base area safer? Tame everyone of these you see and put them on aggressive and wander and just let em go wild

I love thse little fuzzballs soooooo much! I ahve over 30 of these little guys and they make great guard dogs. Mine are all about level 70 at the moment as i haven't had a chance to level them up but i mostly pump on health, some melee damage as well but I take them out hunting when I'm riding my therzin and they take things out pretty quick. So id reccomed them. Love my little babies <3

they are like compys but jumbo size

When u have a bunch of them, do NOT set them to follow u as closely as possible. May sound fun but when ur crowded u go up on their backs and u lose health. U have been warned

If anyone didn’t know, you can go up to a dilo and punch it right before it sprays you, then it will not spray you. I don’t know if this works with anyone else but it works for me.

There so annoying when you trying to tame and raptors are worse

Very easy tame. They make really good starter pets

For an egg farm, you need one male and as many female as you can afford, make wooden ramp and have them follow you into them and punch into position. Put them on passive. The eggs will roll down for an easy pick up.
