I dont have any idea why the developers made them look so small?ok I like how they look(just like in jurrasic park)but you can add more another version of dilos like raptors.cause in reality they where not this small and never spit venom or had gills.

All you need hit with your fist it will run chase it and give 3 or 6 (raw meat it depends on what level) then wait a little and there.

Pretty sure they become aggressive when you open your inventory

I just use a slingshot and about 7-8 meat on level 40-60’s that I find on the beach then they get a nice level boost from the tame and end up being lvl 50-65’s then yeah, they can actually be a lot better than you think, I’ve had a single one kill 3 sarcos, a few titanoboas, probably a million bugs, and survived a kaprosuchus attack all in one trip- I still have that dilo her name is Marni :3

It is quite simple kill dodos for meat then just punch them till they are uncouncious if you are hit by spit keep going and the more you punch the less they can spit

I have about 5 mate boosted Dilos that are all > lvl100. If you have more than 1 or 2 Dilos I do not recommend having them always following you. Mine are always getting stuck in rocks, trees, etc. and it’s a pain in the ass to have to go and find them. I only bring them with me when I am taming so I have some extra protection. I have nothing to do right now except write a tip for Dilos because I’m taming a carbo atm. Anyways, do yourself a favor and don’t have 5 Dilos getting stuck everywhere.

You can put them on turret mode in behavior like so people can see

They are really good especially early game on turret-mode as base defence. They also can fit inside small bases like rafts so just put them on aggressive so if anyone find a way in they will die.

These guys are very underrated in my opinion for a first carnivore great and if you get 3-4 of decent level they will take down almost anything.

When I play singleplayer, these babies are one of if not my first tame. Male and female, breeding time to lowest and egg hatching lowest (cheap, I know, but I play for fun) and these babies get you an army in mere hours. Not only that, but they are just plain fun to have around. Tip for breeding, place on turret mode and set wander. Guard and baby factory in one!

Easy KO and tame, grab a few off of spawn and you can be fairly protected

Very useful for protection in early game. If you can get a high level, then it can kill low level raptors for you.

At low level, they pose some threat but not much due to their slowing spit, just poke them with a spear or pike and they will die in decent time

dilos are relatively easy to tame, but if you are new here is a guide!

3-5 raw meat to tame the dilo

a wooden bat to knock it out, and now you have a dilo!

Get a pack of 9 diplos and a Raptor to ride, change your name to Chris Pratt and most cave creatures, bats, scorpions, Megalania, dung beetles nothing big mind you and they can farm hide raw meat and chitin like professionals helps when they’re all above Lvl 80 with points pumped into health dmg and speed

My dilophosaur is purple with blue spikes

I saw a Dilophosaurus attacking my lystrosaurs , so I ran at it , hitting it repeatedly while my two lystrosaurs jabbed it with their tusks like a walrus and the hungry dilophosaurus died. I killed it to save my lystrosaurs

Helpful tip, take one take it to your base, leave it their go tame another one bring it back, and runs and repeat until you have an army.
