Pretty sure they become aggressive when you open your inventory

I have about 5 mate boosted Dilos that are all > lvl100. If you have more than 1 or 2 Dilos I do not recommend having them always following you. Mine are always getting stuck in rocks, trees, etc. and it’s a pain in the ass to have to go and find them. I only bring them with me when I am taming so I have some extra protection. I have nothing to do right now except write a tip for Dilos because I’m taming a carbo atm. Anyways, do yourself a favor and don’t have 5 Dilos getting stuck everywhere.

You can put them on turret mode in behavior like so people can see

They are really good especially early game on turret-mode as base defence. They also can fit inside small bases like rafts so just put them on aggressive so if anyone find a way in they will die.

These guys are very underrated in my opinion for a first carnivore great and if you get 3-4 of decent level they will take down almost anything.

The Dino will back up and flare it's flaps of skin on its face then it will shoot acid at you.

At low level, they pose some threat but not much due to their slowing spit, just poke them with a spear or pike and they will die in decent time

I have tamed too many of these beat the heavens out of it with your fist and give it meat then BOOM got your self a dilophosuarus

How to tame a dilophosaur:

1. Get a club

2. Start hitting the dilo with it

3. After the dilo is knocked out, feed it meat, any type of meat works. You can use preferred kibbles.

I am mid game, but I still kill these little F***s on sight, they murdered me and scared me to death more times than I can count.

The most annoying little [__] anyone will ever experience on the beaches

Me: *hanging out in my base*

Some Dilo: oooo a beaver sitting so still! Fooood *starts gnawing on Beavoid (beaver)

Me: *sorting out stuff inside*

The game: Your Beavoid - lvl 37 was killed by Dilo! Lvl 27

Me: tf *goes outside*

The Dilo: *chewing my Doed*

Me: how tf did the PSX not notice that???

The PSX: didn't hear or see anything, what you mean?

Me: *shotgun round*

Kinda easy to tame. Bola them or shoot with tranq arrows and feel it roughly 6 raw meat. Tada! You have a venom spitter. Wait time is decently short and with 4-6 of them, you’re deadly.

I have roughly 16 lol

I just use a slingshot and about 7-8 meat on level 40-60’s that I find on the beach then they get a nice level boost from the tame and end up being lvl 50-65’s then yeah, they can actually be a lot better than you think, I’ve had a single one kill 3 sarcos, a few titanoboas, probably a million bugs, and survived a kaprosuchus attack all in one trip- I still have that dilo her name is Marni :3

It is quite simple kill dodos for meat then just punch them till they are uncouncious if you are hit by spit keep going and the more you punch the less they can spit

These are the easiest predators to tame or kill, just make sure to get a lot of them

I have like 10 of these level in the 30s they killed a raptor in like 5 seconds XDD😅😅😅😅

The reason I am not unclaiming my dilophosaur is because they have been serving me well since the start of my save.

The strongest carnivore in ark it learns how to spit from a young age hence why it’s so big it will go in your mouth and you might like the taste

DO NOT HAVE DILOS AS TURRETS WHEN YOU A LOW LEVEL TURRETS WILL PISS OFF TRIKES AND BRONTOS AND ALL BOBS WILL DIE
