You can put them on turret mode in behavior like so people can see

They are really good especially early game on turret-mode as base defence. They also can fit inside small bases like rafts so just put them on aggressive so if anyone find a way in they will die.

These guys are very underrated in my opinion for a first carnivore great and if you get 3-4 of decent level they will take down almost anything.

The slingshot will take these guys down in one, maybe two, sometimes three shots. Agro it with the first and it comes right up to you for easier shots.

The Dino will back up and flare it's flaps of skin on its face then it will shoot acid at you.

make sure you avoid their spits it can blind you and poison you

The Dilofasaur is very easy to tame, all you need is some raw meat, I recommend using a bola to trap it, and a slingshot or bow to attack it.

So apparently ARK has the Dilo wrong IRL it would be about the size of an ARK raptor and would not have a frill on its neck or venom. I think ARK should add a different variation of the Dilo that is more realistic. I don’t care if you vote or not. Have a good day!🙂

It is very easy to knock them out because today I got a level 37! From a quest it was very easy she has lots of health to my guess on high levels is Bola them and knock them out and then feed them hoping to be able to breed my dilos poison and king because poison is a girl and king is a boy

When your new to ark and it sees you doom music kicks in

What you’ll need: 4rocks, slingshot, 7 raw meat (or prime, kibble, etc.), dilophosaurus.

How to tame: fire rocks out of slingshot, (2-4 rocks) then put meat in inventory, (3-6 raw meat)

They are a easy tame but make sure you atleast have 3 or 4 meat because they only eat meat and make sure there aren't any carnivores around or other dilos they will kill you

I have tamed too many of these beat the heavens out of it with your fist and give it meat then BOOM got your self a dilophosuarus

How to tame a dilophosaur:

1. Get a club

2. Start hitting the dilo with it

3. After the dilo is knocked out, feed it meat, any type of meat works. You can use preferred kibbles.

A little heads up if your on primitive plus poultry meat from dodos work really well for carnivores

If they spit at you spit them right at their face....

I dont have any idea why the developers made them look so small?ok I like how they look(just like in jurrasic park)but you can add more another version of dilos like raptors.cause in reality they where not this small and never spit venom or had gills.

All you need hit with your fist it will run chase it and give 3 or 6 (raw meat it depends on what level) then wait a little and there.

Pretty sure they become aggressive when you open your inventory

I just use a slingshot and about 7-8 meat on level 40-60’s that I find on the beach then they get a nice level boost from the tame and end up being lvl 50-65’s then yeah, they can actually be a lot better than you think, I’ve had a single one kill 3 sarcos, a few titanoboas, probably a million bugs, and survived a kaprosuchus attack all in one trip- I still have that dilo her name is Marni :3
