To be honest, this is the best pet for beginners; if it tries to attack you, try running up a rock when it manages to come up, jump down so then when it runs down you can hit it, then while it’s unconscious, you can put meat in its inventory and feed it.

You can easily kill a Trike with 4 of them but, each must be level 15

They are good companions to tame and they like raw fish and meat.

Tame these and set on turret mode, cheaper than plant x, and easier to get

They 're so OP, in early -mid, really

I was still below LV 10, when I've encountered a spinosaure (really)

But I had a pack of 4 good level dilos, so they killed the big dude, without any lost on my side...

And if you'd breed them to higher LV, then can solo everything, for sure

Adventure log: the dilophasaur aka noob destructor is a common creature. They are easy kills once you have an axe or other weapon, but whateveer you have never doubt them. For the most, it is the only one to spit poision, so that means you don't have to worry about a bigger poison spiter; and though the out my journeys, in the ISLAND, they can spawn on all the south zones, west zone 2, and overall they can be found on mostly on all locations except the artic. I might make more observations on it meanwhile on my journey.

Every time I knock out one of these and try and take them I always have to get more food no matter how much I have lol.

A bunch of these set to wander around your AFK spot are perfect for beginners, just set to neutral, following you, on wander with max target and following range. I call this the Bob repellent.

Put fences on your roof and put them on neutral and if you are attacked just whistle them to attack

They are great for first time gamers and a pack done right will protect you so you can get what you need.

These guys cannot do much alone, but they are super easy to tame just knock them out and stuff them with meat and once you get a big group of them (15-20) you can take out allmost anything that tries to kill you

Set up three or four beside your doorway on turret mode to make blinding spit guns. Good for low levels.

I have about 5 mate boosted Dilos that are all > lvl100. If you have more than 1 or 2 Dilos I do not recommend having them always following you. Mine are always getting stuck in rocks, trees, etc. and it’s a pain in the ass to have to go and find them. I only bring them with me when I am taming so I have some extra protection. I have nothing to do right now except write a tip for Dilos because I’m taming a carbo atm. Anyways, do yourself a favor and don’t have 5 Dilos getting stuck everywhere.

You can put them on turret mode in behavior like so people can see

They are really good especially early game on turret-mode as base defence. They also can fit inside small bases like rafts so just put them on aggressive so if anyone find a way in they will die.

These guys are very underrated in my opinion for a first carnivore great and if you get 3-4 of decent level they will take down almost anything.

The slingshot will take these guys down in one, maybe two, sometimes three shots. Agro it with the first and it comes right up to you for easier shots.

The Dino will back up and flare it's flaps of skin on its face then it will shoot acid at you.

make sure you avoid their spits it can blind you and poison you

So apparently ARK has the Dilo wrong IRL it would be about the size of an ARK raptor and would not have a frill on its neck or venom. I think ARK should add a different variation of the Dilo that is more realistic. I don’t care if you vote or not. Have a good day!🙂
