Thy are very easy to tame just get a slingshot and hit them like 2 times if thy are lv10 or lower and putt like 5 meat

Walk up punch one twice then feed it a couple steaks and it’s your friend for life. They do get lost if you are in a hurry

Get a male and lots of females to grow your pack and hunt with mate boost. If you get a male that’s stronger than the first male, swap them and kill the weaker one. Only have one or MAX two at a time, and you still get mate boost on all of them. Also they’re really cute.

Can kill with range so it won’t get killed

When you take one you don't want it mate boosted when you try to knock it

Bro I got a ton of these and if you get 10 of these and level them up to 50 you will be abmeto take down corno.

These guys are surprisingly easy to deal with 1 on 1 early game for me. I say early game as in when you’re still hanging out on the beach. I don't know how helpful this will be because I play on easier settings but...

1) Avoid them until you have cloth armor and/or a spear.

2) If somehow thats hard for you, try running away. Dont let them spit on you, obviously.

3) If you do want to fight them, all you’ve gotta do is keep your eyes on their animations, stay within melee range, and just keep stabbing them until they die. If you avoid the initial attack then they should be easy to kill.

Again, I play on easier settings as a casual player so I don't know how accurate this will be for harder difficulties. I am also assuming the Dilophosuarus are low leveled.

If you need a whole lot of em or you want Dilo Army, look for them in the swamp. There are so many of them there and also high leveled.

There's a small place right by where redwoods meet swamp as far East as you can get where literally hundreds of these guys will spawn. I use it to level up tames as you can kill many at once

This is for lazy players on how to tame a dilo

Craft some bolas and a club then swing the bolas at the dilo then attack with the club until unconscious then put at least ten pieces of meat

Just walk backwards while punching it or swinging a club, but time them correctly. Or keep a distance and use a slingshot. Make sure you prepare to dodge its spits. It doesn’t eat much food either. You can use these guys as early game bodyguards, poison turrets (if you encumber them in place by placing loads of stones in their inventory) and fodders for a raptor ambush or an artifact cave. They eat meat after tamed.

Spears are useful and so are slingshots

Once a dilo lvl 4.. LEVEL 4. Killed my sarco my other dilo lvl 6 and a parasaur level like 10 or 12.. And the thing is they were all on neutral😠😠😒😒😒😒👎😑

Dilos are really good when they are on YOUR side. I took one hunting with me. He'll go after anything. Then he brings me back the meat and the hides.

Downside is he'll go after anything so don't accidentally punch a Triceratops.

The best thing to use when taming a Dilophosaur is a bola and tranq arrows on a regular bow..

They’re useful for killing dodos and lystros

I recommend you use a sling shot to knock them out because you won’t get attacked by the spit because you can hit them from a distance

Extremely easy to tame, use whatever method you want. Make an army of ten or more to defend your starter base, and use a feeding trough to feed them all. Keep growing your dilo army, it's easy and you can always tame more and more and before you know it you have hundreds of lvl 100+ dilos.
