I have like 10 of these guys leveled up to like 60 each tame them with some meat I used my fist but I would say make sure u got good heath bar bc one spit and they will kill you if ur new, so just work a little on it then get a few more they eat meat so like from a dodo or something easy and get a few more and you can kill trike and more with the 10 I have I bring them out to hunt and add speed and heath and damage and these guys are going to be outstanding for many things. They get kinda of annoying when keeping them in like a pen bc they kinda escape but I just put two thi bc around their pen but they are easy to tame and knock out

Despite how annoying they can be, when I first played vanilla these guys are actually what saved me.

I had a breeding pair tamed along with a moschop’s and I was extremely safe with the 2 following behind, they’re actually very useful beginner tames.

This is for lazy players on how to tame a dilo

Craft some bolas and a club then swing the bolas at the dilo then attack with the club until unconscious then put at least ten pieces of meat

Once a dilo lvl 4.. LEVEL 4. Killed my sarco my other dilo lvl 6 and a parasaur level like 10 or 12.. And the thing is they were all on neutral😠😠😒😒😒😒👎😑

Dilos are really good when they are on YOUR side. I took one hunting with me. He'll go after anything. Then he brings me back the meat and the hides.

Downside is he'll go after anything so don't accidentally punch a Triceratops.

The best thing to use when taming a Dilophosaur is a bola and tranq arrows on a regular bow..

They’re useful for killing dodos and lystros

Knock it out with a wood club then feed it meat to tame it they are super helpful, attacking your enimes

I recommend you use a sling shot to knock them out because you won’t get attacked by the spit because you can hit them from a distance

Extremely easy to tame, use whatever method you want. Make an army of ten or more to defend your starter base, and use a feeding trough to feed them all. Keep growing your dilo army, it's easy and you can always tame more and more and before you know it you have hundreds of lvl 100+ dilos.

Get about 6-7 of these. Find a bees hive and as soon as you harvest honey lay down. Might take a few hits but Dilos will take them out quickly

Just walk backwards while punching it or swinging a club, but time them correctly. Or keep a distance and use a slingshot. Make sure you prepare to dodge its spits. It doesn’t eat much food either. You can use these guys as early game bodyguards, poison turrets (if you encumber them in place by placing loads of stones in their inventory) and fodders for a raptor ambush or an artifact cave. They eat meat after tamed.

Spears are useful and so are slingshots

If one spits on you it effects your sight and turns

everything green.It hurts you a little bit. They

are great companions if you tame one

I had a dilo come to my camp I used my bolo on it but my parasor kept attacking so I put it on passive and buried the dilo(I harvested the hide and meat) but it looked really cool that was the second dilo that's been to my camp that has died

We've been trying to breed dilos and we just got twins! There pack is unstoppable

To tame just knock it out and if you don't have meat find another, kill the low level and take its meat (i recommended picks dont use axes) then feed it to ur dilo

Bola one or both by there are usually 2,, dodge the poison KO with fists

narco berries (1-2) and (2) Raw meat and BOOM DONE
