These guys are great for hunting parties, 3 or more can help you so much. On the other hand if you are level 10 or higher they're easy meat.

Great early defense. To tame them, it is best to get above them, as their acid spit cannot be shot at steep angles, especially when they are right below you. I have found it best to just jump on a rock. Note that if this creature runs away, it will soon turn around and come charging at you due to its strange behavior.

I had a dilo come to my camp I used my bolo on it but my parasor kept attacking so I put it on passive and buried the dilo(I harvested the hide and meat) but it looked really cool that was the second dilo that's been to my camp that has died

We've been trying to breed dilos and we just got twins! There pack is unstoppable

Knock it out with a wood club then feed it meat to tame it they are super helpful, attacking your enimes

To be honest, this is the best pet for beginners; if it tries to attack you, try running up a rock when it manages to come up, jump down so then when it runs down you can hit it, then while it’s unconscious, you can put meat in its inventory and feed it.

I think dilo’s should be able to be carried by hand if you agree upvot

You can easily kill a Trike with 4 of them but, each must be level 15

They are good companions to tame and they like raw fish and meat.

Get about 6-7 of these. Find a bees hive and as soon as you harvest honey lay down. Might take a few hits but Dilos will take them out quickly

make sure you avoid their spits it can blind you and poison you

So apparently ARK has the Dilo wrong IRL it would be about the size of an ARK raptor and would not have a frill on its neck or venom. I think ARK should add a different variation of the Dilo that is more realistic. I don’t care if you vote or not. Have a good day!🙂

It is very easy to knock them out because today I got a level 37! From a quest it was very easy she has lots of health to my guess on high levels is Bola them and knock them out and then feed them hoping to be able to breed my dilos poison and king because poison is a girl and king is a boy

What you’ll need: 4rocks, slingshot, 7 raw meat (or prime, kibble, etc.), dilophosaurus.

How to tame: fire rocks out of slingshot, (2-4 rocks) then put meat in inventory, (3-6 raw meat)
